Private suite holiday rentals in Whitstable

We loved our stay here. It was just the seaside break we needed. It is so close to the sea. The apartment has a lovely bedroom, a little hotel-style catering area and a very nice bathroom. The breakfast area allows you to look out onto the garden and you are sheltered from the road by flowers. The road was quiet. We were easily able to park on the sea front everyday and our stay was in April. We ate at the Marine Hotel one night, just along the front and walked into Whitstable for Turkish food another night. Both were good. What a lovely area!

The kitchen has everything you would need. The shower is plentiful and hot. Everything is within walking distance. Liz does provide a parking pass if needed. The train is only a ten minute walk as is Tesco and church. There are plenty of pubs and cuisine restaurants all within walking distance.

The cart shed was easy to find with the instructions that Steve gave. He wasn’t able to greet us on our arrival day but had let us know before we arrived and gave an alternative contact if we had any issues. We had a small issue with the hoover but one phone call and this was resolved easily, by providing an alternative. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The property was convenient for visiting friends and family which was the reason we booked it. Our two spaniels loved the playing field in the village and the pub served good food. We tried the recommended curry restaurant, also very good. Steve had arranged for milk, butter , orange juice, eggs and a fresh loaf to be left in the kitchen. These were really appreciated.

Rebecca and Kevin’s place is cosy, beautifully decorated and conveniently located - near the station and walkable to the beach. Rebecca was very responsive and welcoming, making sure I have a comfortable stay. Will like to stay here again next time I’m visiting.

Steven and Tina were very welcoming and greeted us with big warm smiles it made us feel very welcome the place itself is very beautiful and peaceful. Had a lovely stay over the weekend and would definitely book again and recommend anyone else to do so as you will not regret it.

This was perfect for our few days working in Margate. Pre-arrival communication was good which was important as we were arriving late. Good size drive for our van plus well stocked with essentials and more! Would use again and recommend.

Had a wonderful stay, very cozy accommodation. Very clear instructions on how to use the utilities. Very close by to a large Sainsbury's, walking distance to the High Street. It's connected to the b&b but has its own private entrance. I got to meet with Sandra who was a lovely host. Would stay here again.

I stayed two nights at Paula’s place while visiting an old friend in Sandwich. Great communication with Paula outlining checking in details and the facilities of the place. Great location in the town close to all the attractions, stores and short walk away to the train station. The room although small is fine for singles or a couple is clean, quiet and a very comfy bed. A updated ensuite style bathroom with shower and a compact kitchen area. Really enjoyed my stay and hopefully return on future visits.

Immaculate place to stay. Finished to a high standard, we had a really comfortable stay. Steve is a great host , wouldn’t hesitate to return if we’re passing this way again. Thanks !

We had a great stay at Alvaro’s place, it is beautifully decorated with a japanese inspiration which felt very cozy and zen - the perfect place to relax! Alvaro and his partner were great hosts, sharing tips of the neighbourhood. Our dog Heidi loved the space too and enjoyed the lovely garden! We can’t recommend this little gem enough!

Fran was a super host, she's been super accommodating and this is now my 3rd time returning. The space is well decorated yet minimal giving it a really calm but homely feeling. It also has a small garden area that you can open the doors onto which is a nice touch when the weather is good. Would highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay here. Had everything we needed. Easy to find. We walked to Deal the first evening, quite ambitious but can highly recommend! Sadly the weather wasn’t kind to us on the walk back! The second day we walked to Walmer Castle (15 minute walk) and we also visited the micro pub in Walmer which is a five minute walk round the corner. Loved the accommodation and the location. Would definitely return again to explore more of the area.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Claire’s lovely guest suite in Margate. The place was spotless and really well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was second to none! Claire is a wonderful host and was super quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Rogers place was as described, small, peaceful and very clean (no crumbs in the toaster, and kettle descaled, fridge/ oven very clean). The welcome booklet for guest was very helpful and detailed. After excursions by the beach and town centre it was lovely to return to a more peaceful and quiet area. Our dogs felt very peaceful and calm in Roger’s Shangri-La de dah. Roger was very helpful and responsive to our questions and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely book Roger’s place again.

Great location on the seafront, private parking and easy to find. This accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing break on the coast. Vicky is really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Nice bar and restaurant 2 minutes walk.

Julie was extremely responsive. Very easily reachable when I had any questions. Lovely quiet place. Very accommodating and provided me with a travel cot. Lovely place and lovely woman ♥️

Great place to stay with a friendly, responsive host. If you've never stayed in Canterbury before, the building is only a 10 minute walk from Canterbury West train station, plenty of pubs and restaurants, and there is a Sainsburys just a 5 minute walk away for all your grocery/personal needs. The room itself has everything you would need and it was a pleasant month-long stay. 10/10

We were here for the golf and Liz’s annexe was perfect. Very handy for the village and clean, quiet, private and well appointed. Liz was very helpful and had great communication.

The van was lovely and spacious, very clean and every little thing thought about. Lesley as host was very friendly and very quick to respond. We visit Faversham often and this is an ideal base to stay with the dogs. Thanks!

Love love love this little gem of a property. Perfect for what I needed wish I had enough time to spend more time. Very comfy & homely. Perfectly situated for walks & views. Ssshh don’t tell everyone. I will be back next time I am across in the spring. Very friendly and also discreet and they are available for you if needed.

We had an excellent stay at the Knobbly Whelk. The location was great, near to the town’s high street and almost right next to a beautiful beach. The accommodation itself was very clean, quiet and cosy, also well equipped for short stays. The hosts were really helpful, easy to contact. They even welcomed us with thoughtful treats upon our arrival. They were also flexible with our check in/out times. Can’t wait to come back!
