The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee where you can sleep, have been retained. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower, with additional costs, you can relax and unwind.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not on a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018 it has been completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own terrain of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment(45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and kettle. Via the landing you enter your own bathroom with washbasins, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons there is a second living/sleeping space available in the apartment (25 m2 extra) Pets allowed only after consultation.

This service will be charged at 4,- p.p. extra upon departure.

Since April 2024, we have a large balcony with which you have beautiful views over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!
