Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wisconsin River

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and very scenic. Michelle was friendly and very responsive. The home was beautiful.

After staying at Maddie's place, I went back through the listing to see what it was rated -- and was surprised it wasn't 5-star by other reviewers. I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties - and this one was a winner. Clean, quiet, private, and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my husband and dog to get a bit of R&R. We took a few walks, used several of the amenities in the kitchen area, and appreciated the water pressure and temperature for the shower. And the view alone was worth 5-stars.

Alissa’s home was just perfect. It had everything we needed for a short stay. I can see why people stay there often and longer. The beds - pillows, sheets, and mattresses - were so comfortable, and the kitchen & bathroom had everything we needed. The surrounding property made for a serene few days of reading & gazing at the river valley.

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and paddleboarding around the no wake lake. Would love to see how relaxing a winter stay would be.

I must say that this home is just as advertised, easy to find, very clean, and maintained. We would stay at this house over and over again. the hosts are amazing to work with and has helped out with our questions, concerns, and the responses super quick and amazing. Customer service is top tier.

All we could want in a BnB & more- very clean, quiet neighborhood, roomy with plenty of places to put our stuff away out of sight, comfy beds & furniture, sauna, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, extra pillows & blankets & towels, tea kettle in addition to the coffee pots, and space in the cabinets. This is a place to truly kick back & just relax. The lake view was our favorite thing, and could be enjoyed right from the comfy couch- which was wonderful when the weather wasn’t cooperating. We really enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. Something we really appreciated was use of the attached garage. It rained a number of days while we were there, including while we were unpacking our car, and having use of the garage was great! This is a place that gets earmarked in hopes of a return trip.

The house is amazing! There is everything we needed, even more. They answered all our questions very quickly and explained to smallest details. The view from master’s bedroom on lake is so pleasurable. Definitely recommend, would like to visit one more time!

The house was extremely clean, very well kept inside and out. Beautiful view of the lake with a pier to tie your boat along with electricity. Very gracious host and were still warm chocolate chip cookies for us on the kitchen table at our arrival. Spacious bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom with all amenities. My wife and i will definitely recommend to all and go back again.

We were in Wausau for a baseball tournament and wanted a private place for the kids to rest before the tournament the next morning. From booking to arriving everything was smooth and easy. I had to ask the day before to bring our grandson because when we booked it was only the 3 of us. There was no problem with the adjustment. We enjoyed the yard while there and made pizza over the fire. They had a grate to cook on over the fire as well as roasting sticks for hot dogs, s’mores and more. Although our time at the site was short we enjoyed ourselves.

Clean, bright, well-stocked space in a very walkable area. We walked to dinner and along the river to see the sunset, biked the Green Circle and Tomorrow River Trails and had a great stay. Perfect space, great communication by hosts -10/10! Make sure you stop downstairs for coffee and breakfast too. Can't wait to come back!

My second year staying here; “Quirky”, a bit unexpected, the first time, but we really liked it. We came back!

Lynn's place was very well appointed, tastefully decorated, clean, peaceful, private, and in a great location for a visit to Viroqua and the Driftless Region. Lynn was welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Lynn!

There wasn’t even one missed detail when this place was made into an air bnb. They go so far above and beyond to make the stay absolutely perfect. I had the best solo weekend and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Dawn and Christine!

We stayed here for a Wisconsin Badgers football game, and I highly recommend it! Otto was extremely communicative and even allowed us an early check-in and flexible check-out.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cove. It was as advertised and Hiller Home’s, especially Lily was very communicative and responsive. We documented a few items regarding damage/non-functioning items and Hiller replies accordingly. The only suggestion I would have is to update their Airbnb page to reflect that they do indeed include towels. The page said to bring bath and kitchen towels. All in all, a great place that I would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfortable with some unexpected extras like lots of games and pool floaties. We really liked the location being close to all the attractions but tucked away in a wooded setting. It was a quiet, family friendly spot.

This beautiful and comfortable space was so much fun to explore! Every time you turn around there are more rooms. There are antiques everywhere, including old books. This is such a rare find. The beds upstairs are full of down- allergy sufferers take note- but they are just so soft and warm and comfy. I have a feather allergy and was pleased to note the air purifier in the room which we ran all night and I was FINE! woke up without any issues. This home was a great place to go where everyone could have their own space to be alone after many hours in the car together. There are games and books and even a game room to use. I would stay again!

We enjoyed the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings! There was more than enough of space for our family of 5. Our stay was very comfortable and our boys enjoyed the delicious breakfast options every morning. Daniel was very friendly and provided useful information about things to do and places to eat in the area. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay. Kids had a lot of fun swimming in the pool and watching TV later on at night. Quiet area with minimal traffic , vending, ice, and washing machines are a walk away which was pretty convenient. Would stay here again. highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with family from all over the US that came to celebrate a graduation. The property was amazing, the kitchen completely stocked to make full meals for a large group, beautiful home!! The eagles nest on the property was an exciting bonus, deer that visited daily, I could go on and on. We all hated to leave and are talking about when we can plan another trip!

Quiet, comfortable villa with peaceful views. This was a great spot for a getaway. It was very close to dining and attractions, but felt serene and secluded.
