We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about helping people rediscover the small and great beauties of life: by spending time with themselves, with their family, or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: Our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Waldaue

Am Rand eines idyllischen Hofs im Westerwald liegt unser Standort Waldbach – mit weitem Blick über Wiesen und Wälder, soweit das Auge reicht. Im Hintergrund begleitet dich das sanfte Rauschen eines kleinen Bachs – dein Soundtrack zum Entschleunigen. Direkt ab der Cabin starten Wanderwege durch Wald und Feld. Auch mit dem Rad lässt sich die Umgebung wunderbar erkunden. Am Abend sitzt du auf der Terrasse oder am Feuer – mit weitem Blick in die Natur und dem Gefühl, ganz bei dir zu sein.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Beautiful old building apartment in historic mill

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Apartment by the forest / Westerwald

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALD. Close to Obererbach lies the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorcycle trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. The Obererbach railway connection (one stop to the centre) is within walking distance of the village. You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

Gästehaus Bähner

Built in 1963 by my grandparents, we have revived the old part of the bungalow in the charm of the 60s and converted it into a spacious guest house for 2-3 people. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, this is the perfect starting point for hikes in the beautiful Siegerland, for excursions in the region, e.g. e.g. to Freudenberg, Siegen or Biggesee. But it is just as perfect for a break from everyday life, for rest and relaxation. Welcome to Föschbe!

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon is under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional home with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you've come to the right place in the Windecker Ländchen. The circus wagon is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to Koelnmesse).

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und liegt im historischen Dorfzentrum von Oberholzklau. Ich habe die Wohnung mit einem vollwertigen Arbeitsplatz (zweiter Monitor) ausgestattet. Wenn du also Teilweise von dort aus arbeiten musst und dich gerne in der Natur aufhältst, dann bist du hier richtig aufgehoben. Natürlich eignet sich die Wohnung aber auch um dich zu erholen und einfach ein bisschen Dorfromantik zu genießen.

Cozy mobile home in nature

Relax in this special and quiet space. In our small mobile home, you have your peace and seclusion. It is located near our farm, the bathroom is on the courtyard grounds (about 80m away). Only for guests who love nature and some camping ambiance! Feel free to bring your dog and/ or your horse. The open stable is nearby and the walk of the horses to the meadow leads past the mobile home.
