The cottage benefits from a fully enclosed decking area with furniture and a BBQ. There is a paddock behind the cottage which is perfect for exercising dogs or relaxing at the large table with a coffee, watching the wildlife. Inside there is a wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and a large bedroom, all with vaulted ceilings.

Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

The Nestbox is a private, rustic cabin just for two located on our farm at Mallard Grange, close to Fountains Abbey. Mainly open plan inside the carefully chosen vintage and upcycled furniture coupled with modern kitchen and high quality finishing touches make this a great place to stay. Lots to discover; historic houses, gardens, walk, cycle or take a drive in nearby Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales, Ripon 3 miles, Harrogate 11 miles, Grantley Hall 1.5 miles.

Crow House Barn is a stunning stand-alone two-bedroom limestone barn conversion set in 10 acres of gardens and fields in the peaceful North Yorkshire countryside with only one other house within half a mile. Ideal for walkers and cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts, this 17th century barn has been completely refurbished to the highest standard to welcome guests. A new kitchen has been fitted (December 2021) complete with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer and sink/drainer.
