Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

The newly renovated apartment is located in the east of Eisenach, in the green and quiet Karolinental. On foot, you need 15 minutes to the old town and 10 minutes to the train station. Eisenach's sights, such as the Wartburg and the Drachenschlucht, are easily accessible. We offer you: a separate small kitchen (fully equipped with fridge, microwave, ceramic hob) and a bathroom with tub, as well as a room with a new box spring bed (140 × 200 cm), TV, Wi-Fi, large wardrobe and seating for dining.

The regional train station Wutha is within walking distance in 15 minutes The apartment can also be rented for a longer period of time by students, commuters or fitters. The apartment is equipped with a desk and an extra Wi-Fi router.

The accommodation is a construction trailer of about 210 cm by 360 cm in size. It is located in the garden behind my house and has a wonderful view of the Thuringian Forest. Water and electricity are available but only for simple use (solar shower) No kitchen or cooking facilities.... In the trailer there is a bed of 140 cm by 200 cm which can be folded down at night. Otherwise, there are two benches with a table and shelf. In the garden, there is a dry toilet.

We stayed with Daniela for an extended WE. Communication with her was absolutely friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out are impeccable by the code box. Since we were passing through, the direct parking lot at the house is very pleasant. The cottage is absolutely clean and everything was perfectly prepared. We were equally positively surprised by the nearby restaurant on the campsite,which can be reached on a short walk through the woods. So a completely successful stopover. Many thanks to the landlords...

I had a lovely stay at Holger and Kathrin’s apartment in Eisenach. The place is recently renovated, modern, and very clean. I especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking a peaceful inner green yard—it was a perfect spot to relax. The neighborhood is quiet, yet conveniently close to the city center. There’s also a children’s playground nearby, which is great for families, and a Lidl supermarket is within a 10–15 minute walk. The apartment is ideal for a short stay. For longer stays, it would be even more comfortable with the addition of a washing machine and an oven. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

A very nice accommodation with all the amenities/very good facilities for us as a family with a small child. It has everything you need. We enjoyed the time in Eisenach and felt very comfortable in the apartment. Check-in and out is easy. Even earlier check-in was made possible. Communication with the host is fabulous. The location is also perfect. The old town is within walking distance, shopping facilities are only "a stone's throw" from the apartment and a playground can be reached in a few minutes' walk. We will be happy to come back!
