Monthly Rentals in Yakushima Island

I had a great time, beautiful home, in a beautiful space. It feels so remote and quiet, yet it's only a shortish walk to the bus stop, and a few minutes by car to town. I had a great time here, Mike and Keiko were so generous with their time and their insight, and Yakushima is so incredibly beautiful. It was unforgettable, thank you so much.

This place far exceeded our expectations — the photos really don’t do it justice. The cottage is incredibly charming, quiet, and more spacious than we expected. The scent of the cedar wood throughout the house is absolutely wonderful and adds to the calming atmosphere. It’s beautifully equipped with everything you might need, thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite spots was the veranda — a perfect place to relax and take in the lush nature that surrounds you. If you’re looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in Yakushima, this cottage is a gem. Highly recommended!

It was spacious and beautiful, had everything I needed, and I was able to relax in a wonderful space surrounded by the scent of wood.It is a little far from Miyanoura and Awa, but if you have a rental car, there is no problem at all.Rather, if you want to enjoy the mountains and the sea, I think it's just right in the middle of each location.It was also convenient to have 3 drug stores and very delicious Italian food right next door.There are private houses next door, so it's not suitable for people who want to make noise at night, but I think it's the best environment for those who just want to relax after playing during the day.
