Cottage holiday rentals in Yarm

Sundial is a beautiful cottage, central to Skelton. The cottage is comfortable and has the convenience of a downstairs and upstairs bathroom / shower and a separate utility room. I booked Sundial for the hot tub and this feature didn’t disappoint. A superb way of relaxing after a busy day. We visited Saltburn (walkable along the Cleveland way) and Whitby (I highly recommend the Park & Ride). Before coming home I drove to Marske-on-sea where my dogs and I enjoyed a gorgeous walk along the wide, open beach. Marske has a dog friendly cafe (The dog house) if any dog lovers are reading this review!

Really cosy place, awesome decor and a huge bed. Would love to visit in winter to make use of the fireplaces (the weather was too good this weekend!) Hot tub was great and pizza oven fantastic. Thanks for having us!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Byre! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly equipped — the hosts had truly thought of everything. It was also incredibly dog friendly. Our dog was made to feel so welcome with a thoughtful basket of essentials, and we really appreciated the lovely welcome tray waiting for us too. Thank you for such a relaxing and memorable stay — we’ll definitely be returning soon!

We have just returned from a wonderful trip. The house was exactly as described, fully equipped, very friendly neighbours and loved the hot tub. Found some nice walks from the house and easy driving to the many delightful beaches and towns in the area. The local pub is a 10 minute walk with friendly staff, lovely beer garden and pub classics type menu. Would highly recommend this little gem. Thanks Dawn 😁

what an absolutely amazing place to visit, with one of the moat picturesque views of the Yorkshire Dale anyone could wish from right in the backgarden. the cottage is spotless and has everything you could want for a break away.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking the surrounding area from the house was great and very near to a pub and tearoom which both served great food. The hot tub was an added bonus!

Last minute get away and we were very happy with this cosy little place. Lovely location, close to the coast. Tranquil surroundings and plenty of nice outdoor space for the pup. Linda greeted us on arrival and was warm and welcoming. We would recommend this place to others, thank you

When you see constant raving reviews on an Airbnb I always feel a little sceptical.... this time I was proved wrong. As someone who is picky about where I choose and often a little underwhelmed, it's not often I can say that this surpassed my expectations and more. Beautifully decorated and gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. Very clean. The most homely Airbnb I've stayed in. If you want to stay in a home from home in the most beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you. Thank you! Ps. you've now left me a problem that everywhere else has a high standard to meet!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend doing a bike event. It was clean and tidy. We liked the fact we could get the cars off the road.

Lovely cottage, stayed for 1 week and all that was required for a very comfortable stay was provided. Everything was to a high standard, fixtures, fittings, bedding and towels which made for an extra special stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was lovely; lots of lovely touches and decor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, with tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate etc provided. The beds were super comfy. We were a little nervous of the parking situation, but it was absolutely fine - the square is very open with quite a few cars parked overnight, so we didn’t feel at all concerned about leaving the car. It was a little noisy with lorry traffic in the night and early hours, so worth taking ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. Overall we had a lovely stay. We were lucky enough to have dinner at Where There’s Smoke, and we really recommend it for a special meal.

A lovely 2 bedroom cottage with a lovely ambiance, lovely beds and furnishings. The village has lots of eateries and shops. A lovely quiet location.

Lovely cottage, super clean, lovely to get a little pack of cleaning cloths, oven gloves and tea towels. Very easy instructions and quick responses. So private and very peaceful. BEAUTIFUL garden, so lovely to walk around early in the morning with the dog. Extremely safe. Everything you need in this little gem.

This cottage was a great find. I often stay in the area in hotels however, as I was looking for a full week's accommodation, I wanted somewhere quiet. The cottage has everything you need with amole kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The bed was very comfortable with patio windows, allowing for some much needed air circulation during hot summer nights! The bathroom has a good shower, with four towels provided. The living area is spacious with sofas, a dining table and TV. Location wise, the cottage is set amongst several other dwellings approximately 1.5 miles north of Yarm town centre. The area is very quiet with very little disruption. There is a Co-op store five minutes walking distance that has everything you need. Geoff is a very friendly host who went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend this listing for anybody staying in the area.

What an absolute find. A beautifully refurbished and fitted cottage, immaculately presented and ready for us. The welcome hamper was indeed very welcome. If you are into alpacas, this is a great place to stay as Deborah and Nicky are experts. It’s a great place for accessing the north York moors and coming back to a quiet and restful night (the bed was super comfy). Deborah and Nicky were extremely welcoming and always available. We’ve been to many AirBNB places and can honestly say this is the best one yet. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful barn before a family wedding. Wendy was kind enough to allow the bride and her entourage to get ready in the spacious living area, offering up her garden for photographs. Nothing was too much trouble and a few issues were dealt with swiftly. Highly recommended for a peaceful, countryside stay in glorious surroundings.

Great accommodation with all amenities you could require. Walking distance from bars and restaurants, with easy parking Friendly and proactive service. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return In future.

Bridge Cottage was perfect! Lovely style comfortable, clean and quiet in a great location , close too the high street and the many shops, restaurants and bars. Just what we needed.

Janes cottage is very cute and comfortable. Beautiful walks very close to cottage . And Northallerton is very close only 15 minutes up the road . But if you are looking for peace and quiet then Jane’s cottage is the perfect little hideaway . Jane always gets back to you very quickly if you send her a message . 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟

Perfection. Everything you want in a home from home - I only wish my home was as beautifully decorated as this cottage ! Everything considered and bought specifically for the place - lovely coffee cups - it makes all the difference to have a nice drink from a nice cup ! I slept better in this bed than I have since I was a teenager! loo is downstairs for those who may need a loo nearer - but thats the only thing I could imagine anyone finding a problem in this delightful home !!!! I will be back on my next time up home x
