You will have the entire basement-- two bedrooms, bathroom, small kitchen area, & living room-- to yourself. We are in a wooded setting a couple of miles from town. You'll be able to enjoy your own patio entrance (pond view) with access to a firepit. We are close to the White Pine Trail, the perfect place to walk or jog. We think you'll find the space peaceful & cozy. There is a stairway to the upstairs, but it is curtained off for privacy. You will have the entire floor & entrance to yourself!

Everything you need to relax & recharge in one cozy space. Private entrance. This suite is an open floor plan with a small kitchenette that includes a fridge, microwave and stove with basic kitchen utensils and dishes. It is located in town close to stores, restaurants. Nice patio out back with covered area to grill out. Walking distance to the North Country Trail and 10 min from the new Dragon trail. There is one queen bed and a couch. It will comfortably sleep two guest.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

Eric was extremely responsive from start to finish. My daughter and I stayed in the mini cabin for a peaceful and private getaway while we were in the area to visit a local zoo. The cabin was elegantly simple, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. We were truly saddened to leave this beautiful and tranquil environment. I look forward to returning in the fall and winter. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. Our stay was a special experience with memories to last us a lifetime. Thank you, Eric, for creating such an amazingly beautiful space for us to stay and explore!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Kirk & Angella’s place. It is a wonderful place. It’s very peaceful and quiet along with many things to do and see. Will definitely continue to come back. This was the most amazing weekend retreat. A beautiful wood path and dock leading to the gorgeous lake, so many birds that it felt as though a symphony was playing just for us. Less than a 10 minute drive to the most gorgeous hiking trails. The space was quaint and cozy and had everything we needed without a bunch of useless Airbnb clutter. I honestly felt like I was in my own home, which is rare with an Airbnb. Sitting on the couch morning or evening and looking out over the lake was absolutely luxurious. Shaun was beyond accommodating, answering all of my questions and making sure I had everything I needed. The entire area is so beautiful and if you want to immerse yourself in nature, there are so many different ways to do it. Once you’ve soaked up the sun, head back to your cozy little private retreat and enjoy a bonfire or a nap in a hammock, or just watch the geese and the ducks on the water. We got the extra treat of a mama duck with NINE baby ducks! Stop reading-just book it! 💜
