The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located near the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the well-known wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monument ensemble with main house, the more recent vacation home and steep garden was extensively restored in 8.5 years of construction and mainly in own work according to ecological and traditional criteria.

In this house built in 1904/1908, you will stay in a listed archway with direct views of the Moselle and the landmark of the city of Zell, the Pulverturm. In a direct location on the Moselle promenade and the old town, you have the best starting points for hiking, cycling and boat tours or a stroll through the old town. Excursion destinations such as Traben-Trarbach and Cochem are easily accessible by public transport. Numerous restaurants and ostrich farms invite you to linger.

The Vineyard View

Our beautiful vacation apartment is located in the middle of the vineyards. The view of the vineyards from the 100 square meter terrace is breathtaking. Barbecue facilities are available on the terrace. A garage for storing bicycles (incl. charging facilities for e-bikes) is also available as well as car parking spaces (subject to charge!!!) 100 metres from the house. The Moselle is on the opposite side of the street and it is about a 10-minute walk to Zell's old town.

Welcome to our cozy apartment at Mosel kilometer 105 in the Art Nouveau city of Traben-Trarbach. The apartment is on the upper floor of a detached house. It has a separate entrance via an external staircase as well as a private roof terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning or end the day relaxed with a glass of wine. Quiet and close to the Moselle, you can reach the train station, gastronomy and shopping on foot.
