We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

Beautiful place, enjoyed the greenery, the birds (the two woodpeckers in the garden that flew in and out) and the tranquility. Calm park, you can hear people, but it still feels very private. We had beautiful weather, which also contributed to a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and Janna and Christof took great care of us. Would happily do it again!

A wonderful place! Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, thanks to the playground and the swimming pool a Valhalla for children. The cottage is equipped with all comforts, spacious bedrooms, wonderful kitchen and very nice garden. We were here in the spring, but can totally imagine that it is enjoyable every season. We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

What an amazing place! So beautiful in the middle of nature and the house is really spacious enough for 6 people. Upon arrival, a high chair and camping bed were ready. We had brought a box with us for outside because of the decking, which is a meter higher than the ground around it. A nice bike ride and you are in Ommen. We enjoyed it!

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed our time outdoors. Tom provided everything we could possibly need. The garden is spacious and perfect for playing — ideal for children. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and well-equipped place.

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

We spent a wonderful week in this fantastically beautiful holiday home! Together with friends, our children and their children, we were able to enjoy the peace and nature to the fullest. The house is very tastefully decorated, absolutely clean and leaves nothing to be desired – you immediately feel comfortable. The surroundings are idyllic and perfect for families: the children were allowed to visit sheep and move freely on the adjacent pasture. They were also particularly enthusiastic about the orchard, where we were allowed to pick to our heart's content. There is a cozy restaurant nearby, fresh honey from their own beekeeper and eggs from the chickens right on site - simply wonderful! The hostess was very friendly, spoke very good German and was particularly warm in dealing with the children. We felt completely welcome and can recommend this place without reservation.

Nice little studio with everything you need for 1 or 2 people if you go walking in Drenthe.

We had a great time, what a beautiful cottage and a beautiful location! Nice and quiet, nice for hiking and biking! The cottage had all the comforts!!

We spent a few days in BijAnderen and had a great time. We were looking somewhere comfortable , quiet, peaceful in the countryside and close to cycle routes. All the boxes were well ticked. Saskia is responsive and helpful host and her holiday home is cosy and has everything you might need. The Drentsche. National park and the Balloerveld are beautiful landscapes to explore on the bike or hike. Highly recommend the food in the Hotel in Anderen.

A beautiful bungalow in the middle of the nature reserve. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The forest right outside the door offers many opportunities for walking. The cozy house offers everything you need and the hosts are always approachable. Communication was hassle-free and very friendly. Thank you Piet and Anja for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful weekend. The house is very spacious, with several kitchens and dining tables, but everyone also fit at 1 dining table. There were plenty of plates and so on, which was very nice. And it was all sparkling clean!

We had a great time in Dennis' super nice house. Everything is just right in this home. Beautiful layout of the house, perfectly equipped kitchen, great garden, comfortable beds, lots of activities (table tennis, billiards, darts...) and everything is clean. The house simply impressed us. The location is also great. Close to the supermarket and beautiful hiking and cycling trails in the area. The communication with Dennis was perfect. He was super responsive to messages. We can 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Super nice apartment, nice quiet and clean. Perfectly located, parking in front of the door, in a parking garage and it wasn't expensive. You can walk into the city in no time. Where you will arrive in the beautiful center of Zwolle. The Jumbo is within walking distance, easy for when you want to eat or have a drink in the apartment, etc. In short, a top stay!!

If you want a weekend away in the Netherlands (in our case) and also with 2 adults and 4 children, you pay the main price everywhere for a place to stay. For this house, it was just fun and completely for the luxury we got in return, but also that there was also something left to do some things with the children next to the stay alone. And the contact was very nice, understanding and with quick responses. Was a weekend what felt like a week.

The location of the house is unique. This makes it super quiet. The garden is shaded by the tall trees, which is an advantage in high summer. In spring, it's cooler during the day. This has not further affected our stay. We enjoyed the time very much.
