Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Abilene

Great new private residence just south of downtown Abilene. Very modern. 12 minute walk from downtown, or less than a 2 minute drive. A few fun and eclectic restaurants and coffee shops in the general area. I travel Abilene often and this will be my new go-to lodging. When compared to the places near 1-20 highway, this stay excels in all categories, convenience, cleanliness, spaciousness, and price. Highly recommend. Also has fun patio with firepit and chairs on artificial turf.

We’re so grateful the host allowed us to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday here. It meant so much to find a place that welcomed a small gathering, most places don’t. The pool was perfect for the party, and we all had such a blast! The backyard was great, and the patio made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. Inside, the home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt super homey and peaceful, and the neighborhood was quiet too. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t change a thing!

The house was wonderful! Well decorated and all amenities were provided. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked grea! We would definitely stay there again.

Such a nice stay, the backyard is not attached to a door of the house, 2 living rooms is great when with multiple people wanting to watch something different, washing machine is AMAZING, bedrooms are big and lots of room, smaller bathroom shower gets a lot warmer than the larger bathroom, dual oven is a blessing, overall great place

This home was one of the cleanest home I have rented. When you walk in it feels like a home and smells very clean. The home maintained very well and perfect for families. I definitely recommend this home for a family of 6. The space and beds were very comfortable. I definitely will rent it again in the near future.

Extremely comfy and cozy home! Very close to things to do in Abilene! Everything was very clean and just as described! The neighborhood was quiet which was so nice and my dog loved the fenced in yard!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and tidy and I appreciated that there were cleaning supplies available to use to clean up behind ourselves. The host Traci was also extremely kind and supportive and also knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely stay again.

Great little space for a long weekend! We locked ourselves out at one point on a Saturday and they immediately dropped everything to come unlock the door for us. Has everything you need to cook and do laundry - perfect space for a cozy retreat!

Celia's place is just amazing: peacful, nice enviroment, filled with everything you need. Celia and her husband are the best hosts ever: we had great conversations, we really felt like home - this is more than just an Airbnb, it's the best of Texas!

Sarah is a great host. The home is affordable and has everything you could possibly need. Kitchen with stove, oven, and full sized fridge; bathroom, bedroom, couch, etc. It was convenient for me because it was near my work area.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Lindsey was an excellent host. She was very responsive and proactively offered a twin mattress for my daughter. In addition, the gas needed to be turned off unexpectedly for a short time and Lindsey graciously reimbursed us for dinner that evening. The house was very clean from top to bottom. Would definitely recommend!

Ruth was very responsive and the house was maintained in a great condition. i accidentally try to enter other entry but he showed up immediately and helped me to get into the home. I wad 100% satisfied and next time when i come here i will book in advance for multiple nights.

The home was very cute and comfy. It was spacious with a roomy bathroom. The sofa was comfortable with a great sight to the tv. There was also enough room to park. A place to keep in mind for another time.

The location was perfect for us as we were close to the house of a family member. The place was perfect for us and well equipped. The only criticism was the road noise and the noise from the next door unit as the walls are paper thin however this was not a major issue and the host made sure everything was available for our stay, coffee, creamer, laundry pods, dishwasher pods & bin bags. No fuss living.

Jennifer’s place was the perfect amount of space for one person coming to visit someone. The bed was very comfortable and Jennifer was very responsive. Loved this place!

Nicely appointed and comfortable. Very clean. We enjoyed the Keurig which came supplied with some coffee, and the refrigerator had plenty of water drinks. Liked the fact that you could drive into the garage and shut the garage door for safe entry. Instructions and additional information provided in a notebook answered any questions we had, and checkout instructions were clear. All around, a very nice stay. I will definitely go back if I am in Abilene again.

Abilene can have treacherous weather, so the carport was a huge advantage. The space is homey and nice to have on a busy weekend. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but we did not experience anything negative. All in all, I was happy with the accommodations.
