“Wonderful and beautiful but there are no temperature controls and it was just a tad warm at 75 degrees in the evening. There were fans available but my daughter has dry eyes. We weren’t there in the daytime but they keep it at 77 and that would have been too warm for us too. Here is my daughter’s review (she stayed there while visiting me): “It was nice and private and quiet. No hassles, wonderful to have the Roku, and everything was really clean. It had the biggest bathtub ever too!””
Country cabin in the city:) Peaceful, welcoming and comfortable stand alone cabin in a peaceful and quite neighborhood. Wildlife (deer, foxes and/or owls) may been seen daily. Sit at our patio table and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. We clean and disinfect the cabin after every guest. You will have your space but we are here if you need anything. Keeping our distance is not an issue. We look forward to hosting you. Please reach out with questions/concerns.
“I can say all of the incredibly kind reviews I read are 100% truthfully FACT. In the back yard a wild deer was literally eating out of my hand. That was ridiculously amazing. But you wanna know what’s even more amazing than that?........ Kim & Augie. These two take extreme pride in being the perfect host and they’ve nailed it! They’re witty, kind, interesting, responsible, hospitable, organized, honest, and just really good people. Their Airbnb definitely reflects that. If you’re more interested in privacy, no problem, you’ll absolutely have it. But if you have time for an evening conversation with these two you won’t regret. This one is definitely on my list for a return visit.”

Open shower with rain head and wand. Exposed rock walls, concrete floor. No chemicals used so critter sightings possible!
“This was a little slice of rustic heaven! A few things to know-it's one room so there is not a separate bedroom area-it's hard to tell from photos. There is a second porch that is tucked on the other side of the bathroom and out of the kitchen door, with another table and chairs, and I used that to watch an amazing orb weaver spider create a massive web from a tree to a bush. The front porch is nearly as big as the house itself, and was where I spent 90% of my time--the views are too lovely to be inside for! There are amazing small touches, such as the teapot with cup, a stocked coffee area, the fridge already on when you arrive. There is no television set, and you will absolutely not need it. It's an easy trip to San Antonio or Kerrville from here. Greatly enjoyed my stay and will come again!”
