Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Acharnes

Could not recommend this place more. Old charm with modern amenities, very quiet neighbourhood and easily walkable to all major sites. Christos is extremely kind and greeted us the first day. A great person to converse with. Book this place for Athens.

I stayed with my wife and two daughters for 3 days, we felt as comfortable as if we were in our own home. There is a market on Saturdays, we shopped there. It's very close to the subway, within walking distance. If you want to be close to both the center of Athens and the beaches, this place is very successful in terms of location.

We had a great few days in Athens- location was amazing- so central, lots of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. Quiet even though it was in a central area. Plaka was a perfect place to stay. We walked everywhere. The patios and terraces were a standout- so lovely to sit in the morning with coffee or the evening with a drink- views of the Acropolis from the upstairs terrace. There were many places to sit and relax outside and it was private. The air conditioning was super. Kitchen was well stocked- we used the Nespresso and there were little milks in the fridge. We were met at the house when we arrived and when we departed. We were given clear instructions on how to use everything as well as local recommendations and maps. I would definitely stay here again. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. They had made the bedroom on the left of the house into twin beds, where 2 kids slept and then the other 2 bedrooms are on the right side of the house- one upstairs one downstairs

Great location with restaurants across the street. Great for groups who want to be under the same roof but also want to have their own space in different apartments. There are 3 apartment and each apartment is equipped with a bathroom which made getting ready easy for us 4 ladies. The top 1st floor apt ‘Harmonia’ is very modern, with two twin beds in one room and a Queen size in the other room, kitchen with a cute pink fridge and very modern bathroom. Then there’s the basement apartment ‘Erato’ with a twin sized bed in one room and a queens sized bed in the adjacent room. Living room with tv as well. This apartment has had a switch which you had to flip about 30 mins before taking a shower so you can heat the water, which was a little inconvenient but wasn’t such a deal breaker. The basement apartment’s shower is tricky, had to turn knobs and a contraption on the faucet you had to move up and down to make it go from faucet to shower. Then there’s the studio apt ‘Aegle’ which is small

We highly recommend this Airbnb for your stay in Athens, the home was clean and the views were beautiful. The host was beyond helpful and provided an affordable driving service which was very helpful considering the taxis are very costly. She helped us order food and went above and beyond with her services. We thank you!!

Lovely and charming home🏡 Our stay was amazing and peaceful. The Host is friendly, nice welcoming and very helpful and available for any information or concerns if needed 🫶The house is located on the very top of the hill and gives you a very nice view of Athens’s neighborhoods, and in a very sunny clear day you can spot the sea in far distance 😉. It is so relaxing to sit on the terrace enjoying your favorite glass of wine 🍷 or coffee ☕️ in the mornings. The nearby neighbourhood offers you market for groceries and also food deliveries 👍. The home location is not for walking distances towards shops …you will need a car to move around 🥰 We will definitely consider this charming home in our next visit to Athens 👏🏻🫶🥰😁

We had a very nice stay in this home. The rooftop view is phenomenal and we loved sitting up there at night! The home was comfortable, had everything we needed and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. But the star of the show was the host - he arranged transportation, met us at the house, shared very helpful information, and was an incredible help to us since our luggage didn’t arrive. The hospitality was just wonderful. Highly recommend!

A very nice, comfortable, and modern apartment. All of the appliances work well and the apartment is very clean. It has a beautiful view on the Acropolis, especially at night. The apartment is located à in a residential area with about a 30 mins walk or 20 mins by metro to the tourist attractions. The check-in process was very simple, however the check-out time is very strict with not much flexibility.

Thank you for your hospitality, your availability, your smile! A nice stay a little set back from the city center, free to go where we wanted thanks to public transport and affordable uber, a favorite for the restaurant Bismillah and the island of Agistri. Thanks Efaristo.

This is great location for exploring all Athens has to offer on foot or using public transport. The accommodation offered everything we needed and despite normal city centre noise levels we had no problem sleeping. We would certainly stay there again.

Aggeliki by far is the best host out of all the people I have rented from on Airbnb. She is very friendly, very helpful, always keen to help. Place was amazing and she is very responsive. She also like to recommend restaurants, places to visit, etc… I was also travelling to Naxos and she was already proactive with providing me with her favourite restaurants and beaches there. Her place is also very cosy, has a great atmosphere I believe that’s because it is their own house in which the rent every now and then. In short, great host that gives me even extra motivation to come to Athens!

This was a great place to stay for a handful of nights in Athens. There were many sights to see and great food within walking distance. It was also a great place to relax after an eventful day.

Homer & Isabella’s place was beautifully decorated and very clean. Its location is extremely walkable to the happening parts of Athens but is not directly in the busy tourist areas - it was a perfect balance for us! Homer & Isabella were very quick to respond to any questions that we had and very eager to ensure that we had the best possible stay in Athens. I would definitely stay here again one day!

Such a beautiful Airbnb. Best part is the hot tub actually gets hot, not just lukewarm (which i’ve noticed a lot of other hot tubs in Greece are only lukewarm) so that was a plus. Very modern setup and the view was great. Unfortunately I was very sick during my stay, but Jeff and Katerina were so nice and responsive and even helped us get a taxi to the ER, and checked in on us throughout the day. Truly such great hospitality and we are so appreciative for all of the help that they provided for us. Any question we had they responded to us right away with such helpful advice. Thank you so much for everything ♥️♥️

We were very happy during our stay!The place was super clean and comfortable!Mrs. Diamanto gave us useful information during our stay, ! Also, he had even provided for breakfast with various goodies he had bought, making us feel like home! Thank you so much we'll pick you up again!

Panos is an excellent host, very kind and generous. He arranged and paid for transport for us and airport pick up for our son on a separate date. He even gave us a lift home from a restaurant one evening and then we had a nice drink together. Panos and his family live on the floors above the Airbnb rental, which is on floors-1 and -2. The pool is excellent, although not large it is deep and has an “endless swim“ function that gives a great workout trying to swim against the current. The view of Athens is also amazing, especially from the -1 floor large picture window. Note that the -1 floor is open plan containing a double bed and the kitchen, but the -2 floor bedroom has a door for privacy. Steep hills nearby give you a serious workout when walking but taxis are reasonable (usually about 8-11 euros from the acropolis)

Beautiful views Very peaceful Kyriakos is very communicative and friendly. The house has tonnes of amenities (how often does your house have an elevator) Would highly recommend renting a car if you're not from the area. Tip for the other travellers: the property is on a very large beautiful tract off land with an automatic gate that can only be opened from the house or two remotes the host provides. Easy enough but something to keep in mind

The House was Perfect for a group of 9 Girls and Krassy was a Great Host. Commuting to the City (with Traffic which occurs mostly) via Taxi (which is very cheap) takes up to 40 Minutes but Beach area and Beach Clubs are super close to the House, which is why the Location is the Perfect Spot to have it Both: sightseeing in the City and Beaching! Thanks, we can fully recommend and would be happy to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. It’s also perfectly located within easy walking distance to all the major tourist sites, yet tucked away enough to feel like a true retreat from the crowds. Highly recommended!

The host treated us very well! Was always reachable, flexible with the checkin time, supported us with transportation during a taxi strike. She was very kind and gave us nice restaurant tips! The house was clean and included everything you need for a nice trip! Thanks a lot and until next time :-)

Stavroula is an elegant and responsible lady. The house is big, clean and well prepared. She prepare a lot of snacks and drinks for us so we don’t need to rush to the supermarket on the day we arrived. The house is what you see in the photos. Big, comfortable and have a big swimming pool. During our stay, Stavroula arrange pool cleaning and garden maintenance too. She just make our stay more comfortable and perfect. You may think that the house may be a little bit far from the center, however, it’s very convenience for us. We are a family of six and we have rent a van which can park inside the garage. There are also buses and trains you can take nearby. I really love this beautiful house and I am sure I will come again soon.

Lefteris, was a wonderful host! He went above and beyond our expectations! Such a kind, and very thoughtful host. The home was spectacular! What a beautiful place was Villa Marina. I highly recommend it and we will be back again!
