Kate & Paul are lovely hosts and their Chateau is incredible. What a find-specimen 350 year old plane trees adorn the grounds among a variety of other species including cherry & apple trees. Peacocks, geese and ducks roam happily around this serene property. Only a hour from Paris yet far from the hustle & bustle of the city, I slept peacefully with my windows open - not hearing a sound. The Chateau is stunning and my room was gorgeous. The bed was fit for a princess, with Frette linens and a variety of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was stocked with beautiful Frette towels as well. The antiques selected for the room were thoughtful, unique and clearly chosen with care. After short 3 min walk to the village I found everything I would ever need in the way of food options. We would love to return and cannot wait to see what this ambitious young couple do with this historical treasure. If you need a base to explore lower Normandy and Central Loire, this is the right place!

We rented this place for our employees and couldn't be happier with our choice! The host was extremely responsive and helpful, answering all our questions quickly. The place was spotless, spacious and very well located, which made it easy for our employees to get around. They also really enjoyed the host's little touches, like toiletries and snacks. A very positive experience that we would highly recommend to other teams!

We spent two weeks with 3 children (4 years, 3 years, 9 months) at Jean-Baptiste's and we would have liked to stay longer. The garden is a dream, huge, natural, beautifully maintained and with numerous play opportunities for the children. In addition, the sauna and the hot tub: a dream. Everything is great inside, too. Lots of toys, very stylish, good kitchen, cozy beds, a rowing machine. Tip - a little paradise! We'll be back for sure!

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night en route to SW France. The gite was very comfortable and spacious. A lovely terrace in the sun or shade which ever you wanted. Maryse was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived and gave us good information for our onward journey. A lovely place to stay.
