Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Aegina

Matina's house was the perfect place for my month stay on Aegina. The house is beautifully situated in a pistachio orchard, just across the street from the beach. It is only a ten-minute walk into town, with lots of restaurants, grocery store, etc. Matina was great at communicating and really helpful with check-in/out instructions. I highly recommend!

Very nice house in a nice location ! The owner was very reactive and helpful. A special thanks to Sandy (contact person on site) who helped us out when our rental car died after 2km.. note that the condition of the rental we received in exchange was not really better (a busted jeep Suzuki Jimny with no suspension little breaks, motor alarm on dashboard, …) . A little extra would make the stay even better : beach towels (too expensive with Ryanair) and a larger pan. And if I can dream a little : an (old) surfboard or a little canoe would be super.

I stayed at Xanthi's place with my three girlfriends and we had a fantastic time there. The house is lovely and cozy, equipped with everything that we needed. It was very clean and comfortable, with spacious terrace and garden (with turtles in the backyard!). There were fans both in the house and outside, which allowed us to survive the high temperatures. Additionally, all windows and door have an anti mosquitoes net so we didn't have any bugs in the house. Xanthi's house is located walking distance from both ports - Skala and Megalochori. The nearest beach and supermarket are 5 minutes walking from the house. Xanthi is a lovely host- we felt very welcome and she was ready to reply to all our inquiries. She also let us check-in earlier which was much appreciated as we were tired after a long travel. After the check-out we were allowed to leave our luggage on the terrace, as we still had a couple of hours until our ferry was departing. Overally, this was a wonderful stay!

We had the most perfect Airbnb experience ever. The house is homey and clean and we truly fell in love with it. Panos’s sweet parents welcomed us and got straight into our hearts. The view from the balcony makes you feel like you’re staying in a temple, it’s stunning, quiet and completely zen. The house is super comfortable in perfect taste, modern yet warm, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location seemed remote at first but it’s perfect if you want to really enjoy the island experience like a local and also have privacy. I wish I’ll be back someday!

We were particularly well received by the parents of the hosts, who were waiting for us on site to show us around the house. We had a great time in this house, well equipped, welcoming and with direct access to the sea. The parents also gave us some great tips about restaurants, amenities, and things to do on the island.

Everything was exceptional at Giorgos’s place. We found what we were looking for, i.e. a great place to stay with amenities to relax and energise. We would definitely looking to come back in the future! We would also like to thank Giorgos for his responsiveness whenever we needed him. An excellent host, and an excellent stay!

Our stay in Aegina was absolutely perfect. The photos of this house led us to believe that we’d have an amazing week, but somehow the home was even more wonderful than we could have hoped. The holiday home is surrounded by flowering & lemon trees that create a peaceful buffer from the occasional traffic, but with only a 10-15 minute walk we could be right in the heart of Aegina Town. Our host was incredibly generous and gave us great recommendations throughout our stay. We would love to stay here next time we come back!

This apartment exudes a wonderful aura of warmth and hospitality. It is the cleanest home I've ever encountered. Every detail, from the bath plug to the french press plunger, gleams! This, along with the tasteful decor paired with the impeccable functionality of the kitchen - stocked with every utensil and appliance one could want - reveals the owner's considerate and caring attention to the experience of his guests. Kostas, the property manager, is outstanding! He was so proactive and accommodating, meeting me at the port and helping me with my many bags after a big day of travel (predicting I would need help), organising a car for me at the last minute, and responding to my every request kindly. Beyond his professionalism, he's also a very knowledgable person. When I asked him questions it was clear he is rich in knowledge of Aegina as well as the history and politics of Greece, which I really valued.

Great stay! Excellent location and walkable to everything in Aegina town. Marina was a very kind and welcoming host in addition to be very responsive before and during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Nikos is a super host - friendly, responsive and helpful. His place is beautiful - zen, thoughtfully arranged, artistic, as well as in a scenic location right by a nice swimming beach. We appreciated the local pistachios and kores soaps!

Loved our stay here, the flat is super clean, peaceful and comfortable. Yannis and his mother were really helpful, we had to cut our stay short unfortunately as there was a ferry strike and Yannis was very communicative and refunded us the last days of our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Agistri!

I had a wonderful stay in Aegina! The sea view was absolutely stunning and the place itself was very cozy and comfortable. Everything I needed was included, from kitchen essentials to toiletries, and the detailed guide with local tips made exploring the island so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Aegina, it's the perfect base to relax and discover the island!

We enjoyed our vacation in Aegina very much & had a wonderful time in Christo's apartment🥰!!!Christos was very helpful, picked us up from the ferry, helped us organize a scooter, in general he always had an open ear, was there & accessible in a good very discreet, warm & hospitable way!!! We felt very comfortable & simply happy. The sunsets on our terrace were fantastic & we could even see the sea from the bed!!! Thank you very much Christos for everything & we will definitely come back!!!!

Niki's place is spacious, spacious, super clean, and tidy. With a beautiful view of the Saronic Gulf it is in a great location to visit the archaeological sites. We were lovingly welcomed by the nice and welcoming Mrs. Maria, who was very hospitable and attentive.

A hillside villa with amazing views. Beautiful sunsets. The buildings are beautiful...the decor is very stylish and all the amenities you'd need. Our booking was for two using the second bedroom (separate from the living space / kitchen). Quite basic but all we needed. I'd recommend for a secluded retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Anta’s place. It is an easy 10min taxi or drive from the port, and it’s easy to walk back and forth to the town. The location is on a stunning part of the coast looking back towards Athens, with great beaches for swimming. We were met by Anta’s husband Antoni and he was incredibly hospitable and generous with his time. They both shared great recommendations to make the most of our time in Aegina. The house is spacious and well designed and worked really well with a group. Thank you

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria's villa for our family vacation. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from fantastic restaurants, two grocery stores, and two bakeries, which made everything incredibly convenient. But the true highlight was the breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every single day. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly generous, leaving us a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jimmy was outstanding—he met us at the port, helped us organize taxis, and shared great local recommendations. He also kept us updated with anything we needed to know, including local news like power or water outages, which was really helpful and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Christos is fantastic host. Kind and friendly. Always willing to help whatever we needed. Really nice guy. The place was very comfortable with quality amenities and nice yard for relaxation looking the sea. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

It’s has amazing view, great sea breeze, across of a church, makes a great getaway. One thing is to be careful of which the host has already put is the mosquito repellents, it’s very effective at night , but outside of the house you might get 1 or 2bites. Also the host has been very accommodating, especially there was a strike for the boats ahead and was clashing with our schedule, and the host was able to play around the schedule to accommodate us. Thank you very much again !

I loved this entire place definitely from very beginning of my stay at Aegina. The garden, Pistachio trees and itself the house creates very Greek, native atmosphere. I liked hammock hanging between pistachio trees in the yard end even slept there. All things are exactly the same as on the photos. The host was super-friendly and helpful, she even met us with home-made muffins! <3 Highly recommended for quiet, romantic or even kids stay.

Property great, you will need a car to explore Aegina. There is a lovely little beach within walking distance and an ok restaurant.
