Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

ZipWorld is just up the road and there are many local amenities such as a Tesco Express, a variety of takeaways and several pubs all within a few minutes walk. The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. Well placed to discover Snowdonia, nearby hills, mountains, cycle paths, walks and climbs, and also ZipWorld Velocity 2 which is only a short walk away.

A converted quarryman's cottage from around 1870, situated in upper Rachub, in the foothills of Snowdonia: Bank's Cottage has stunning views from the main accommodation, taking in most of Anglesey from a viewpoint over 700 feet above sea-level. We're a two-minute drive from Zip World and walks and climbing in the glorious Carneddau are literally out back of the property: the Snowdonia National Park begins fifty metres the other side of our garden wall.

The Caban is only a stone's throw away from the famous Slate Trail and Penrhyn Castle, steeped in its links to the Bethesda mining history can be seen clearly from the decking area. Attractions close by includes Zip World and Snowdonia Mountain walks.
