Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Ideally located in the centre of Alnmouth just a 5 minute walk from the beach, golf course and lots of walking and cycling tracks. The ‘Sun Cottage’ as it is affectionately known has recently had a modern makeover. With a south facing entrance and terrace guests can enjoy a drink in the sun well into the afternoon. Guests have sole access to the entire property including the adjoining garage which can be used for storage. Alnmouth offers an amazing selection of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Perfect for active family holidays and just a stone throw from the popular ‘Fishing Boat Inn’ . The ideal location for heavenly coastal walks to traditional pubs serving the local sea food. Warkworth village has a range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as wonderful walks, cycle paths making coastal hideaway the perfect place for a relaxing get away. The village is a few minutes walk, Warkworth castle and coquet river walk a 5 minute stroll and the golden sands of Warkworth beach a 10 minute walk away from the hideaway.

The Byre at Bog Mill, Alnwick is situated down a quarter mile private track and overlooks the River Aln, on the outskirts of Alnwick and three miles from beach. A spacious self contained cottage for two with double bedroom. Open plan living area with feature arched windows overlooking the garden. Safe parking is adjacent to the cottage and secure storage for bicycles is available. WiFi is free of charge within the cottage. No smoking. No pets.
