Monthly Rentals in Alpine Lake

Beautiful home, resort grounds were quiet, clean and well maintained. Manager was responsive even in the evening. Very comfortable; good instructions, easy to follow. We had a great time.

Great and peaceful location with wonderful 2nd floor porch. We had beautiful hikes at Swallow Falls State Park, and the Rock Maze in Garrett State Forest--both a short drive into MD. If we had stayed longer, we would have tried the put-put golf and kayak rental. My only suggestion is that if you plan to cook much bring bigger knives and a big cutting board. For our visit we only found two paring knives and one tiny cutting board. It wasn't a big deal, just made cooking a big more of challenge. All else in kitchen was worked fine. Tony, the host, was very responsive and helpful.

Loved staying at Michelle and Tony’s cabin! A great rural getaway with all the amenities of and modern conveniences one could hope for. Spectacular views, quiet/private location. Great yard in which to roam and play. The cabin itself is super-clean, comfy bedding and linens. Plenty of A/C (or windows if you choose). Fast wifi, plentiful hot water (and clean - no sulfur odor is always a plus!), multiple smart tvs if you want. Well-stocked, modern kitchen including filtered ice/water dispenser in fridge - no need to haul jugs from the store. 2-in-1 coffee maker incl coffee and all the fixins. Personal touches abound. Fun stuff outside, incl yard games. These are very thoughtful hosts who are friendly and responsive, they provide a great guidebook which includes lots of recommendations for area eateries. (Definitely recommend a visit to Screech Owl.) Would totally recommend this stay!

Great response time. we had a few issues, host was quick to remedy. we enjoyed our stay. would stay again. there is a pool and food at the lodge I would highly recommend. when you arrive there is a security gate at the end of the community, you have to check in with them. they give you your pass and make sure you are supposed to be there. the guard also told us you can get access to go to the lodge or amenities without being a guest staying overnight.
