Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Altona

Me and a friend stayed at Katja's house during two weeks for an internship at Loki-Schmidt Botanical Garden and we loved our stay! The neighborhood is green and calm, surrounded by beautiful houses and gardens. Several food stores are within walking distance, and it took us 20 min to walk to the botanical garden (which btw is well worth a visit!). The S-bahn is a 10-15 min walk away, and there is a bus station even closer. Katja was very friendly and helpful, and was quick to answer messages and requests. In the check-in instructions it wasn't straight forward how to reach the house, but at last I realized that the house can be located at the back of Katja's house (just walk to the left and around the back and you will find it). The house has a private entrance and a nice private little patio. We cooked a lot of food when we stayed at the house, and the kitchen contained everything we needed! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it! I hope I can come back soon!

Definitely a quite and nicer area to stay. The farm restaurant up the road was delicious. Main grocery next door was great. Only issue was the Train station nearest us was down for 3 days maintenence. So we had to either walk 40min from the next closest or hop an Uber. Would absolutely stay here again and beautiful location.

Dear Martina, dear Holger, You are one of the most hospitable and warm hosts we have met so far. Both are extremely helpful, friendly and offer a unique feel-good atmosphere thanks to their cosmopolitan nature. They make their entire property available for exploration and recreation. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, the surrounding hiking and cycling trails are within easy reach. A special highlight was being able to watch the deer at breakfast from the sofa. This AirBnb is at the top of the list for a return visit to us! Thank you for a small but absolutely fine break with you.

The apartment is a hidden gem! The room is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet, but at th same time super close to the subway station and their are a lot of grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants close by.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The apartment was cozy and very quiet. The connections to the city are also good, as a bus stops almost directly in front of the house and there is also a subway station nearby. However, it is important to know that the bathroom is directly in the living room and is only separated by a curtain. In addition, the windows on the upper floor, where we slept, could not be darkened properly, which is why we always woke up very early. However, the price-performance ratio is definitely right and we would recommend this apartment!

Great, family-friendly house with a beautiful garden. We felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience, especially for our children (11, 4, 2). It never got boring and if it did, there was a small park with a playground right next door. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela's cottage! The cottage is very clean, cozy and located in a beautiful environment – perfect for relaxing. The communication with Daniela was excellent, she was always available and incredibly friendly and helpful. You can feel that she cares about the well-being of her guests. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Felix is a very warm and friendly host. The accommodation really had everything you need and much more :) Felix got us rolls for our arrival day despite the holiday and put delicious cakes from the baker on the stairs one day. If you like it quiet and love nature, you are in the right place. Nevertheless, Hamburg Hamburg train station is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle or car and you can relax and take the train into Hamburg. We will be happy to come back!

Our stay was great. There is nothing to complain about in this apartment. We felt comfortable around. The parking lot right outside the door was great. Public transport and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Attention is paid to the well-being of the guests. 100% recommendation.

Phillip's Airbnb is beautiful, it's just like in the photos. It is centrally located and it is a very cool location. There are many restaurants and shops in the area that offer a culinary selection.

Great Airbnb! The place was clean, well appointed and as described. The location was particularly convenient: the metro station is only a 3 minute walk away, from there you can be in the city center in about 20 minutes. There is also a shopping center, supermarket and restaurants nearby – all within easy reach. Sandra was very friendly and easily accessible, everything went smoothly. Overall a pleasant stay – happy to come back!

Communication, reception, accommodation and location, everything as you wish!

Fred’s apartment was unique, spacious and outfitted thoughtfully to make it a comfortable place for our 4-day stay. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was complete, had everything we needed. It was great to have a clothes washer/ dryer to use. Motion-detection lights lit up the stairs from bedroom down to bathroom, making a middle of the night bathroom trip navigable and safe. Communication with Fred was smooth, prompt and helpful. Thank you, Fred!

Hamburg presented itself at its best – as did Deniz's apartment. We felt completely comfortable; everything corresponded exactly to our expectations. The accommodation was cozy and equipped with everything you need. Everything worked perfectly and the apartment was spotless. Deniz was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail. We will be happy to come back!

The pictures don't do the accommodation justice! It is more spacious than it seems and is very quirky in it's design and layout. I loved it, laid out over essentially 3 floors! Holger had everything required for a comfortable stay…towels, cutlery, etc. Perfect location, very quaint. Everything is in walking distance and there are numerous grocery stores just minutes away. Definitely worth the money.

Carola's place is absolutely beautiful, and I felt like I was at home. I love the birds in the bathroom (you will understand what I mean). For the check-in, I struggled to find the building door as it was under construction and covered, but everything went well once I was in. The location is super close to a subway station, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Worth every cent :))

We had a wonderful time with Maria, we felt comfortable from the first minute. The place is very nice and quiet and only a short walk to the train station. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

I was looking for a nice place to stay for our wedding day and relied on the extremely positive reviews here. And indeed, we can only agree with the 5-star ratings. • The hospitality and reception were excellent • The cleanliness was really remarkable • The equipment was as specified and everything in very good condition • The facility really matches the pictures and is very stylish • The environment is very green and quiet Regarding parking spaces, we had no difficulty finding one. We highly recommend this place.

The apartment is perfect for a short stay in Hamburg. We felt very comfortable there and Maria and her husband are very helpful and very friendly hosts. The apartment is superbly equipped and very clean. It is located in a quiet residential area and with the subway (about 15 minutes' walk) you can quickly reach the city center. We will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.

Tobias' apartment was super nice, modern and newly furnished and absolutely clean. We immediately felt comfortable and had a great time. The communication with Tobias worked out very well. Parking is available on site and free of charge.
