Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Altrincham

A delightful, peaceful house to stay in for 5 nights. It was very clean and functional with 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 toilets, a washing machine, and a cosy sitting area with flat screened TV. We had full control of our own heating needs and access to a charming garden. It was fully equiped with all that was needed for our stay. Rosie was immediatety responsive to our messages. We have no hesitation in giving this house 5 stars as we intend to return when we next visit the area.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Jennifer's place was the perfect base for our weekend. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming home. Jennifer was very friendly and responsive.

I had a fantastic stay at Debi’s place! She was an absolutely lovely host—super helpful and incredibly quick to respond to any messages, which made everything so smooth and easy. The home is beautiful, spotless, and clearly very well maintained. The location was perfect—just a short walk to local shops and only a quick drive into Wilmslow, which was really convenient. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying again the next time I’m back in the UK. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely fantastic! I only live round the corner and wanted a nice base for my parents to come and visit where they can have their own space. This property is stunning, really well appointed and immaculately clean. Neither myself or my parents have a single complaint, it’s a beautiful property in a great location that’s perfect for a UK break. Thank you for a lovely stay. The house was perfect for us. I have 3 greyhounds so the high fence around the garden paired with it also being a sun trap kept them very happy and safe. Lovely house. Felt much more spacious and roomy than you’d imagine, probably because of the high ceilings. Thank you x

This cottage is a little gem! Lovely quiet location, a terrace overlooking the hills and some nice walks straight out the door! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good quality towels and bedding. Fantastic host arranged for vegan milk, cake and fruit on our arrival- such a nice touch.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. This is the second time I've stayed here. It is perfect location for Stockton Heath visit and has a dedicated parking space. The kitchen equipment and food provided is much more than expected.

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

Excellent base for what we wanted. Lots of local eateries in walking distance, very quiet location as its away from the main road. The rooms are massive for a two bedroom flat. Really helpful instructions on how to get there and really well presented. I would highly recommend and will be staying again myself.

Super comfortable apartment, lovely beds and sofas. All the amenities you need, even tea coffee sugar and milk :) we would definitely stay again

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

Chris was a welcoming and friendly host. Her place was spotlessly clean and perfect for a two person stay. We loved the hot tub and the view of the field and hills. Great to be able to access the countryside right from the cabin. Pubs within strolling distance - a great choice for a peaceful break.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Very good place to stay in very quiet area. Close to local hiking trails.
