Holiday rentals with lake access in Anchor Bay

It is so calming to be near water and that is just what we wanted - a place to unwind. The view is exactly like the pictures. We appreciated that Henry and April responded quickly and were very attentive.

Neil was a great host. Even with the confusion at check in (fault of my own) he was extremely understanding and proactive. The home was beautiful and the view was even better!! Clean, comfy and had just about everything you need. Short drive to stores and restaurants, the only thing I’d say is if you renting in the colder months, bring warm pjs and socks. The girls were cold and the guys were not lol Overall, 5 star experience.

We were celebrating our friends 35th wedding anniversary. This was a beautiful location to relax and enjoy. The guys did some fishing. The girls hit some local markets. This home was perfect for our stay with lots of extra treats for us to enjoy. Loved the big wine glasses!! We enjoyed watching the big ships go by and even saw a couple of cruise ships. When the weather didn't cooperate we played some of the games provided and watched some of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Most importantly, we had a chance to catch up with our friends, relax and we felt right at home at this wonderful Airbnb.

This is a beautiful location convenient to Detroit and the surrounding areas. We loved our stay.

Nika is a wonderful host. Anything we've ever needed she has taken care of. Charlie's on the canal is always my first choice when coming to Lake St Clair.

Our stay at Donna’s was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect getaway for my family and I. The location is perfect for those looking for a place to rest, recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Donna exceeded our expectations when it came to communication and her oh so famous snack basket! I highly recommend Donna’s to anyone looking to have a nice getaway. The location was so lovely and so peaceful! We will definitely book again!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

We have stayed at Daniel’s apartment several times now. It is always comfortable, immaculate and convenient. This time the gardens and pots of annuals were incredible. Also enjoyed the thoughtful touch of bottled water in the fridge and coffee to go cups. We try to stay at Daniel’s every time we come to Detroit.

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

This is a basement apartment Airbnb, which I usually try to avoid, as we have experienced a basement Airbnb where we could hear every word the owners above us were saying. But this basement Airbnb we could not hear anything above us, so it was private. There is a soaking tub/shower with a rain shower shower head. The tub/shower, being a soaking tub, is high to get in and out of. But it has excellent water pressure. The bathroom is not right next to the bedrooms. We always bring our own nightlights in case this is the case. So, with the tall tub and bathroom not near the main bedroom, I am not sure I would recommend it for older people such as ourselves, but for a younger person, it would be perfect.

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

House was in a great location. Fantastic space on the lake. Lovely neighbourhood and walking trails adjacent.

Lori was incredibly accommodating for every part of our stay. Lori's place was like getting VIP service. She had tons of local recommendations, everything was labeled and she had everything you may possibly need for your stay. Lori even delivered us some local donuts during one day of our stay! The sleep number bed was nice, but if you're use to a thicker mattress (like I am) keep in mind that the mattress is a little on the thinner side. Still comfortable though. We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip through.

This was the second time staying at Fran's place and we had a great stay. Fran's cottage is super cozy and well-appointed, with everything you need for cooking, whether you are preparing a simple meal or having a big BBQ. The couch is comfy and the beds are too. Since the front room window of Fran's cottage has an up close view of a small, uninhabited woody island, we didn't have to go very far for morning birdwatching! The cottage is in a small, quiet neighborhood and it feels very calm and far away from busy city life. However it's not a long drive to Detroit or other big cities/towns. We had some amazing canoe and kayak paddles on the lake and enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. The cottage is right on the water, so launching was simple. We especially appreciated that Fran took the extra time to leave nice snacks and coffee, much appreciated after a long trip.

Loved our stay at Jayson's Brights Grove cottage. Absolutely perfect location only a few cottages up from the waterfront. Walking distance to a great little restaurant and right across from a park. The cottage was well appointed, laid out and very comfortable. Looking forward to staying again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was easy to reach and provided great communication. The house was clean and even provided games, fire wood, along with everything else we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful walking neighborhood and nearby park. I would highly recommend this stay!

Gorgeous Lake Huron at your doorstep. Heavenly sunrises, beach fires, outdoor dining. Beautiful covered back deck. Cottage very comfortable- fully stocked kitchen. We barbecued almost every night watching the boats go by. Absolutely loved lake living!

Great clean house no private but well off the main road. Very quiet and peaceful place
