When you stay here the whole house is yours. You do not share any of the space here at Tranquility Cottage.. We are very close to the village of Gambier which is where Kenyon College is located. Apple Valley golf course is 5 minutes away open to public. Mohican State park and canoeing is 20 minutes away in the beautiful village of Loudonville. Lots of fun shops there too. Amish country is approximately an hour away. Historic Roscoe village is also approximately an hour away.

Located right on Apple Valley Lake just outside of Mt Vernon, OH this 2250sqft house is recently remodeled has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths 2 levels and is beautiful. You can enjoy our dock and go swimming or paddle boarding or just relax and fish. On the main floor is a card room perfect for family games, kitchen with walk out to 2nd story deck and 3 season room, living room with TV, and master bedroom with a private deck and fireplace. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms and fireplace.

Place was great. Had a group of buddies stay for two nights on Memorial Day weekend for some golf. The house has an awesome balcony/terrace and plenty of couches and beds to sleep on. The host was fast with responses and very accommodating. We also used the grill one of the nights and it worked great. There is a fire pit that we regret not taking advantage of as well. Overall a great spot!

We’re so grateful to have stayed at this place! We’ve stayed in several apple valley properties and this might be our favorite. Definitely the best amenities, above & beyond service, and host assistance. I would highly recommend this stay for your family! The cul de sac provided nice privacy and my toddler loved the chip selection that was left for us ;). It comfortably slept my family and was very quiet throughout the day.

lovely little getaway. You will be close to two other cabins and the campground. It's not a noisy campground and we were there memorial day weekend. Everyone is very nice and keeps to themselves unless you want to talk!
