The site has been built with respect of the local traditions and is in the middle of 7.5ha estate that you can visit. Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. One dog allowed per stay. 2 on request. Dogs to be kept on a lead in garden. Above the scenic Varenne river valley, this 300-year-old stone cottage has spectacular views of the chateau above and the ancient Notre Dame church below. Complete with a private meadow garden, we are just a 5 minute walk into the medieval city of Domfront with its cafes, bars, restaurants and many a boulangerie. Rich with history, beautiful flowers and breathtaking views of the sweeping woodland valley, it is a timelessly beautiful landscape.

Many walks can be taken from the cottage.

Studio in the middle of la Suisse Normande. Perfect base for hiking, biking and motorcycling. Located on the long-distance hiking trail GR36. 5 minutes drive from la Roche d'Oetre.
