Apartment holiday rentals in Ascona

The accommodation and hospitality exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is optimally furnished and we lacked nothing. The bikes are perfect for exploring the surroundings. We would recommend the accommodation to everyone and will definitely come back.

We had a great stay! The check-in was super easy and straightforward, which allowed us to have a stress-free start. The apartment was very clean and well maintained – you immediately felt comfortable. We were particularly enthusiastic about the location: In a few steps you are directly on the promenade. A big plus was also the parking lot right next to the apartment. Communication with the hosts was quick and friendly. We would come back anytime!

Wonderful stay in the beautiful apartment of Raffaello and Patricia. The location is simply fantastic right on the lake with incredible views, the apartment nicely decorated with everything you need. The welcome was very friendly, Raffaello showed us everything and gave us many helpful tips. The apartment was absolutely clean and well maintained, we felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

We loved staying in this apartment. It was perfect for two people and even seemed to have some upgrades since the photos were last taken. It rained some while we were in Ascona but the terrace was still a great amenity. It is partially covered so it was nice to sit outside in the rain, as well as enjoy the sun when it was shining. It’s a couple minute walk from great shopping, restaurants and the water. Coops is right up the street and was easy to bring groceries back. The apartment kitchen is set up nicely. Finally, Marco is an awesome host. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed meeting him!

This apartment is well furnished! Very good location! Only 5 minutes away from the lake and restaurants. Just below the apartment you will find Migros to make shopping. Also very convenient. Matina always responded right away and is a very nice hostess. The apartment was clean and had a pretty balcony. Very quiet location for sleeping. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Patrizia's accommodation, where we were able to enjoy the pool (parasols and sun loungers available in the residence). The accommodation, easily accessible by car and public transport, is located in a quiet residence, close to the lakefront and many restaurants (15-minute walk). There is no shortage of activities in Ascona! Patrizia's little nest is aptly named. Although it is not particularly large, it is nonetheless comfortable and well-equipped; perfect for spending a few days there! Finally, we cannot be complete without talking about the host, Patrizia, very welcoming and caring. Responsive, she remains available when needed. Thanks to their attention to detail, you will have everything you need for a good stay. If we had to summarize: great accommodation, great hotel, we can only recommend Patrizia's little nest!

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

Valentina's apartment is very clean and beautiful. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic. We were there at the beginning of June and it was really quiet at night, you could sleep with the windows open. Everything is in walking distance. A parking space would be helpful, but you read in the description that there is no parking space and no air conditioning, so you know in advance. We would come back, for us it was the perfect, small apartment! 💖 Thank you Valentina! 🥰

The most beautiful apartment we have ever been to: nestled in beautiful nature, absolutely quiet, well equipped and the view from the terrace to the lake is just a dream! Sabrina gave us many tips: where to get the best bread (delicious!), where to hike or swim, which are the best restaurants in the area... We had great vacation days and can only recommend the apartment!

We were allowed to experience five wonderful days in the fantastic villa directly on Lake Maggiore. The villa is located below the street, so the noise from the cars can only be heard weakly (the way down with some stairs was no problem for us). We rented the apartment Limone on the 2nd floor: the apartment is very nicely decorated with a lot of taste and we found everything clean and very well prepared. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic! The communication and support by Sabine and Albert was very pleasant, our inquiries were answered quickly and kindly and competently. Cannero Riviera is a beautiful place that can be reached quickly on foot. We hope to spend days there again and highly recommend this place!

The Airbnb is terrific. Just as described in the photos. The bedroom is very quiet and the bed is comfortable. Living room with kitchen very well equipped and the outdoor seating area nice and sunny. Bathroom with good shower and separate toilet. The garden and pool are wonderful. You have a lot of privacy. Parking is available. The hosts are extremely warm and yet withdrawn. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact them. It is a gem and highly recommended. We would come back here any time.

Unfortunately, my stay at Casa Eva was shorter than planned. I regret this very much, because the studio was super nice and the location of the accommodation ideal for excursions around Lake Maggiore. I can recommend Casa Eva - also for solo travelers. The studios are perfectly equipped and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair.

Beautiful stay with an amazing view!

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. I would recommend it in a second!

You feel comfortable immediately, the beds were comfortable and the apartment very clean. The location is very quiet and the view was enchanting, especially the morning sun on the lake. Would book this Airbnb again in a heartbeat!

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊
