Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Asheboro

This place is a gem in a class of its own. I have never written nor do I expect again to write a review like this one. The property and experience were beyond anything I have ever experienced on AirBnB. About half an hour outside of Chapel Hill, when you first drive in, your rental includes the entirety of this private wooded property. The large pond and surrounding woods and lawns are out of a movie. The pictures, beautiful as they are, don't do it justice. The home is beautiful inside: huge, thoughtfully furnished in every room, pristinely maintained, and spotless. Absolutely comfortable. We couldn't decide whether to be outside or inside. To solve that problem, there is a large screened-in porch. The hosts Michael and Heather were on top of everything, responsive, generous, and didn't make you feel (as I often do) that you were part of a transaction. The ratings inflation on AirBnB obscures how rare this place is: it deserves 7 or 8 stars on the 1 to 5 scale.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. The place was perfect for the 8 of us. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of places to get away or get together. Large back deck with patio and large yard below. Entertainment and shopping not far at all. We would stay here again.

This was such a special trip for our family and this house was perfect for the occasion. We felt right at home and the host was so friendly. We can’t wait to come back while looking for home in Summerfield!

Beautiful property. Nice country setting but still close enough to some bigger cities we needed to visit (Greensboro about a 40 minute drive). Loved all the extras would definitely stay again.

A terrific country cottage in a relaxed, quiet, wooded area. Beautiful interior touches, fully functional kitchen with numerous appliances and utensils. Really appreciated the generous supply of linens, cozy throws and ample closet space. Super, super clean which was so wonderful for meeting our health needs. It was just the perfect place to unwind after days of visiting the nearby zoo, pottery shops and train museum. Obviously, the comfort of guests is priority one. Thank you, Diane and Cerah. It was a complete pleasure to stay here, and we hope to visit again soon.

Was by far the best stay we’ve had, The place was pristine and so beautiful. The feeling of peace and tranquility was overwhelming and the owner Bryan was fantastic, we had one request during our stay and he instantly responded and took care of us in less than 10 minutes! We couldn’t say enough about how great the property is! We had already decided to stay again after only one night into our stay …. Amazing, Peaceful, Relaxing, enjoyable!

Second time staying here & brought my family this time! We enjoyed our stay! Gayla was very accommodating as my brother decided to join me and my mom last minute. She had an air mattress and linens all ready to go for him when we checked in. I didn’t notice last time but the living room area can be closed off with sliding doors so my brother loved his separate space in the living room. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Christie’s place has been exactly what I needed for lodging while working in the Asheboro area. Comfortable, clean, kitchen allows for meal prep. Peaceful, safe and quiet, while still accessible for walking to local coffee shops and restaurants.

Staying here was such a hidden gem! The host was so accommodating from before we even made our reservation to any questions we had. We felt truly taken care of and at home. It was in the basement but honestly it felt like we were in our own apartment. It’s a beautiful place with vinyl records, a pool table and a beautiful shower. Would love to stay here again and am so grateful we had the chance to stay here! Will definitely hope to come back sometime ❤️

Great stay! Super close to everything within town so able to walk to all the nearby spots! Building success was super easy with keypad locks. Laundry was very convenient and the house was very quiet the entire time we were there. Would absolutely stay again.

What a great place for a small group to stay with plenty of space and privacy. We had a small family only wedding that accommodated all of our 12 guests for the weekend comfortably. The property was more private than I expected with beautiful surrounding inside and out.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Knollwood Manor and Tyler was so helpful in all aspects! The house was perfect for our family of 10 adults with everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom which you don't find in many of the rental homes. The house is located in such a peaceful setting with lots of Southern charm. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations or service from Tyler. Great house!!

Had a great girls weekend here! We visited Pinehurst for a wedding and we were within minutes of everything. Cute updated condo that was very comfortable in between activities. Roomy kitchen was nice when we were all waking up for coffee in the morning. Peaceful balcony to enjoy the birds and each others company.

Our extended family was in town for a wedding. This house allowed us to stay in one place together. The house and property are beautiful! Everything was as described. Large rooms, comfortable furniture and large equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this property!

Mount Gilead was a peaceful getaway. I went for a stress free, relaxing bachelor trip with a few of my good friends. We are all in our late 20s and it was a perfect get away just to hang out with the fellas. There is not much around to actually do but the house and land was to great we didn't even want to leave. Huge yard and great doc. The upstairs was a perfect set up for someone who likes to have fun or in our case be competitive with ping pong and a pool table. I would give this house a 100/100, definitely coming back
