Mark Cross Barn is a gem! We felt immediately comfortable, and Silvana's clear instructions helped us to settle in without trouble. It's a spotlessly clean and elegant space, easily accessed but completely private and peaceful. We hope to return, as it's unbelievably convenient for Glyndebourne opera, which we come to annually. Thank you, Silvana!

We've stayed with Liz a few times now over the years and the place is impeccable as it's always been. All the facilities and amenities are very good.

Lisa is a friendly and proactive host, and she quickly responds to messages. The Airbnb is easy to find, spacious, airy and light, with everything you might reasonably need. Very comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is quiet, there is a little high street conveniently within a few minutes walk, as are bus stops to Brighton and elsewhere. Also nearby is a park, a lido and the beach.

Beautiful place to stay. The views are wonderful and lots of nature and wildlife. Suite is a great size, we enjoyed having a glass of fizz on the balcony in the sunshine. The host was very responsive and there's a lovely pub a short walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hilary’s cottage - stunning and peaceful surroundings lovely touches of bread milk butter home made jam and marmalade . Beds extremely comfortable and the house beautifully cool in the extreme temperatures we experienced these last 4 days. It’s not posh (Hilary says this herself) but has charm and character. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again. Hilary is a charming hostess

Stephanie's place is as described. Nice and spacious and even though it was very sunny, the place didn't get too warm. It's a bit of a walk to the station and does take some time to get to central London, but the street is nice and very quiet (also at night). And the shower is great!

We stayed here for one night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. When we arrived, they had left lots of snacks and drinks for us including biscuits and prosecco, fresh bread etc which was such a lovely surprise! Thank you so much - such a lovely stay and all of the beds were very comfy.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's place. Such a lovely house in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Sarah was really responsive and provided us with a detailed description of how to find the property. There was also a useful guest info folder with good suggestions for local attractions, food and pubs. The house itself was fabulous. Brilliant space, absolutely spotless on arrival, well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Access to the garden and the river just beyond was excellent for some bird watching. Sarah and her husband were brilliant hosts, thank you so much for having us. We hope to return again soon!

We had a lovely stay at Seascape, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Naomi was a great host and we appreciate all the extras povided: croissants in the freezer with jam and chocolate spread, butter and milk along with tea and coffee. The toiletries were very nice and it was great to have the use of a washing machine. Seascape is up a hill but is manageable and also a bus stops not far from studio. A lovely base for exploring Whistable and the area.

A lovely room with excellent facitities and a friendly, helpful and generous host. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarah to others and would definitely book this lovely annex again if we are in the area. It was spotlessly clean, came with plenty of breakfast and the directions were easy to follow. Thank you.

Loved our stay here. Had everything we needed. Easy to find. We walked to Deal the first evening, quite ambitious but can highly recommend! Sadly the weather wasn’t kind to us on the walk back! The second day we walked to Walmer Castle (15 minute walk) and we also visited the micro pub in Walmer which is a five minute walk round the corner. Loved the accommodation and the location. Would definitely return again to explore more of the area.

Wonderful annex situated in beautiful county setting. Everything and more that you need for a short break and exceedingly comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Roger’s. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Conveniently located between the best beaches and the main part of town, where there are exceptional restaurants and bars to grab a bite. The spot was exactly what we needed - a restful place to recharge at before heading out for a day with the dog at the beach. Highly recommend Angela’s in town and if you’re with your dog, then making the slightly further trek to Kingsgate is well worth it. Palm Bay is closer by as well and is fully dog off leash friendly, too. Thanks so much, Roger!

We had a lovely stay at Belinda’s place. We came late so the self check-in was flexible and convenient. The place itself is cosy and had everything we needed. Great location: peaceful, very near to the beautiful cliffs and sea, and a short drive into Brighton. Thank you! 🌟

Ask her anything—she’s full of great tips! The flat is spacious, spotless, and stylish, with a fresh scent and designer touches. Skylight in the kitchen, fully equipped with all appliances, comfy bathroom, iron, vacuum, and more. Despite the hot weather, opening both windows kept it cool. The neighborhood is peaceful, green, and perfect for morning walks. Shops nearby, and easy transport to central London via bus and Elizabeth Line. Would definitely stay again. An amazing well equipped Annexe. This certainly has been the best one we have stayed in the Uk. The welcome package was most thoughtful. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a home from home stay. We were only there for 2 nights but could easily stay for a week and not feel cramped. If we were coming to that area again this is the place we‘d want to stay!

I stay here at least once a year, and have done for a few now. The standards in the Annex are very high, always spotless and clean throughout. Everything you need is always there so it's becoming a home from home for me. Unlike other places I have stayed in the standards never drop, and your never taken for granted. Christy and Nick are always welcoming, responsive and above all helpful if needed. I have not met better hosts like these ever. Many thanks for another very pleasant stay, and see you next year if not before.

Great location, spotlessly clean! I was attending a reunion party at The Grey Lady and didn’t want to drive back to London that night so was pleased it was no more than a 12 minute walk from the Pantilles. I am pleased to have found Suzanne’s annexe. It would have been better value if I could have booked it for just the one night (minimum 2 night stay is required) but as my two adult children and a friend were also coming, it worked out as only a little more expensive than 2 rooms in an hotel for one night! It is the perfect place for a couple and two young children. For our purposes one night on the children’s bunk bed as adults was enough. That said, it was clearly stated as being a kid’s bunk so no criticism there! And the double bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.

Great place to stay with a friendly, responsive host. If you've never stayed in Canterbury before, the building is only a 10 minute walk from Canterbury West train station, plenty of pubs and restaurants, and there is a Sainsburys just a 5 minute walk away for all your grocery/personal needs. The room itself has everything you would need and it was a pleasant month-long stay. 10/10
