Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barnstable

A minor communication glitch between host and cleaners meant two of the beds had not been made and probably a general cleaning between guests wasn't done. Fortunately the property was already very clean and the guests before me must have been, too. Everything else was in order. When I let the host know, she immediately contacted the cleaners while I went out for groceries. By the time I got back, the place was perfect and the cleaners were gone. I don't think this is a regular occurrence at all. In October this neighborhood was very quiet, which is a priority for me. And I felt very safe, which is also important. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette, and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and even left treats for us upon arrival. The house is stunning, clean, and in a wonderful area on the cape. Cannot recommend it enough!

The host was friendly and responds fast. The house has clean, comfortable, and located in a nice neighborhood. We had two cars and parking was very easy at this house. The host provided a binder with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit, which ended up being super helpful. There are many grocery stores, beaches, and shopping centers within a 10 minute drive from this location so it was perfect!

We loved our stay here! Spent the weekend with our two young children and the house had everything we could need and more. It was walking distance to the beach and near great restaurants. Victoria also provided a list of local recommendations which we took a few of and loved them all! Would recommend staying here.

The home was lovely. The inside and outside were just as described in the pictures. The home had everything needed in the kitchen for cooking, although we chose to order food for delivery. The neighborhood was very quiet with friendly neighbors. The location was close to groceries and shopping—great locations for the ferries (Woodhole and Island Queen) to Martha's Vineyard. Although my stay was short, the accommodations were perfect! CONS: It was most challenging to navigate the channels on the TV's in the home. I would only recommend having a local channel guide available.

We had a great family time at Luba's beautiful home! It was very clean, neat, organized, had all the things we needed and look for in an Airbnb (AC, outdoor shower, well stocked kitchen, quiet, comfy beds and very clean bathrooms, common rooms to relax in). It is located in a very beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood. The house was a little far from the places we went but wasn't a deal breaker. It has a fun pool/game room upstairs in a loft area and we had some great family pool games. We would book again if we are doing a family/friends gathering without going out a lot.

The house was cozy, clean, and a great place to stay for our time in Cape Cod. Steven is very responsive and we had a fun and easy time there.

Sherry was a great host. Everything was clean and Airbnb had everything we needed.

this was a great place to stay in brewster. it is across the street from my favorite coffee shop and walkable to several great restaurants in the area. ann was a great host and easy to talk to. i definitely recommend staying here!

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Out of all the airbnbs I have stayed at Jennifer’s listing has outdone them all!! First of all, Jennifer was the most amazing host and treated us like family! Secondly, the house was spotless, not a speck could be found (and I am usually picky about cleanliness) — it was absolutely exceptional!!! I will definitely be coming back multiple times. Thank you Jennifer for hosting us!

Christina’s home was pretty, quiet, comfortable and well stocked. We appreciated that there was coffee, tea, sugar, soap and everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was also superb- very close to several gorgeous beaches plus multiple restaurants and shops. We did not have a chance to use them, but she even had bikes, which would be wonderful in warm weather. This is a great listing. I thoroughly recommend it!

We had such a great stay! The hosts were super accommodating and really attentive to anything we needed. The place was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with all the essentials (and then some). They went out of their way to make us feel at home, and it honestly made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. This was my second time staying at Chris’ place and it’s was just as nice and convenient as I remembered. Great location, efficient studio condo with everything you need. I look forward to coming back and staying there again!

This was our first time visiting Cape Cod and the location was perfect. Just about an hour away from each end of the island. We were able to explore the entire Cape in a week. The place was clean and spacious. The restaurant downstairs had great food and music. We took advantage of their steak night on Friday night and their half off tapas and jazz night on Tuesday. You do hear a thumping sound in the apt., but it really didn't bother us. Renee did provide ear plugs if you need them. We didn't. Communication was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Anna’s place was exactly what we needed to have a peaceful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend stay. We knew the weather might be on the cooler side, so purposefully wanted to stay where there was the possibility of using the indoor pool – the sponsored guest passes were a huge benefit here, and Oceans Edge staff even went above and beyond, adding an extra day to our pool access since we were picking them up so late in the day. The condo was clean and filled with all the essentials, in a very quiet area of the property. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for a quiet, peaceful Cape Cod family getaway. Perfect space for group of 4, located on quiet corner of Chatham/cape cod. Very walkable to downtown and lighthouse beach (best beach in cape cod). Julia is a wonderful host, extremely responsive and her local recommendations for visitors were outstanding, especially for first time visitors to CC. Would recommend.

The location is fabulous and very close to many amenities - coffee, groceries, restaurants and the beach. While it was a small space, it was well laid out, comfortable to be in, very clean and had a respectable kitchen for its small size (which I used). Devon was very proactive and friendly when I asked him about the microwave not working - I had missed that it wasn't plugged in! The condo was very quiet at night even though it is close to a road. I will definitely return to Devon's place should I need to travel there and it is available.

I had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Perfect for a good night’s sleep after spending the day out. I came to Dennis, MA to celebrate a friend’s birthday and used the space primarily for resting, and it was just what I needed. The heat worked well, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

The location was quiet during our low season stay and close to a beach with 5 mins drive. The house was clean and had lots of board games to have fun with. Meghan was responsive to answer our questions and to addressed issues. I would stay there again in the future.
