Karl's beautiful country home is surrounded by vineyard's and olive trees with serene views in every direction. Peaceful and tucked away from the bustle of town, yet close enough to local Baschi and Orvieto and many other treasures to explore, Karl's home is located ideally. It is the perfect home to settle into and simply relax while enjoying the property, or to use as a home-base in your exploration of Umbria. The home itself was masterfully crafted and very spacious. Every window looks out upon beautiful views, and all the comforts needed can be found. Karl himself is extremely responsive and understanding! We look forward to staying with Karl again!

We weren’t disappointed when we approached S’farina down the long private cedar lined drive . Beautiful stone house over looking rolling countryside and picturesque local hill top village . Lovely terrace and gardens with fabulous infinity pool and pool house with shower:toilet and sauna ( we didn’t use as 37 degrees outside ! We were meet by Veronica who helpfully showed us to the location , she was helped with other few enquires . Well tended pool and gardens by friendly pool man . Inside fantastic characterful rooms and bedrooms all huge with high ceilings and beams . All rooms en-suite and with A/C which was so welcome ! Lots of seating areas outside for quiet reading but also lovely terrace at the back where we ate all our meals . Racquets and bats for a bit of fun in the cooler moments , only disappointment was the bikes weren’t in working order . Orvieto , cascade de la Marmore , Viterbo , Todi, Lake Bolsena all fab . We loved S’farina and would highly recommend it x

Super helpful host and very nice and well located place, I recommend it.

We stayed seven nights in the accommodation and felt comfortable. The communication was very good and Maurizio helpful and the reception warm (including cake). The house and the surroundings are very beautiful, you have a great view of the countryside and can take small hikes from the house. There are seating areas on the terrace, in the sun and in the shade of trees. Supermarkets and Orvieto are quickly accessible by car. Excursions to Bolsena and Civita di Bagnoregio, which can be reached within half an hour's drive, are recommended. Unfortunately, we could not use the pool because the weather was still too cool. We highly recommend this property.

This was our 5th trip to Orvieto and this AirBnB is the absolute winner. We called it our Palazzito--small palace. Everything was top notch--from the decorations to the furnishings to the amenities. And the rooftop patio is stupendous Highly recommended!

We booked the house in the countryside and had a wonderful holiday. The hosts are extremely friendly and were there for us. The garden is well maintained, the pool has been cleaned regularly. A nice holiday

Our recent stay at Palazetto di Marmo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded the villa and the charming little village. Traveling with a group of six, we found the villa to be beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and luxury. The sophisticated and masterful interior design truly set Palazzetto di Marmo apart. Each room was designed with exquisite taste and attention to detail. The outdoor terrace and the adjoining pool area provided perfect spots for relaxation. Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. The hosts at Palazzzetto di Marmo went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations on local attractions, we felt well taken care of at all times. In summary, our stay at Palazzetto di Marmo exceeded every expectation. We had a great stay in Baschi. Our hosts, Walter and Margherita, are amazing. They are thoughtful, present, and available whenever it is needed. They are good advice and they are visibly nature lovers. Their garden is beautifully maintained, and we were lucky to regularly have fresh eggs, excellent vegetables from their garden, a whole bunch of touches that make the stay even more enjoyable. The setting was perfect for those who want like us, like us, to alternate calm and visits, because it is extremely well located. The house is authentic, an old and beautiful building, with all the necessities. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms too. Extremely pleasant to stay in summer. We were outside all the time. The pool is not very large, but largely sufficient for swimming and in a beautiful environment. In short, we recommend this place, and again a big thank you to Walter and Margherita!
