Lovely lication in beautiful village, excellent tea room a short stroll away,perfect for a couple.

The stable house was amazing! The grounds are gorgeous, and we would have been happy staying there all day. Oliver and his family were very kind and welcoming. Percy the Peacock was such a character! It was great to be able to start our hike right from the house. My group highly recommends!

If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kate was a fantastic host who also provided some essentials for our stay which was so thoughtful. What a beautiful home and so peaceful. Everything about mill house and the host was fantastic, will definitely be back

Susan is the best host! Lovely and thoughtful welcome amenities provided for our group, bumblebee barn is so homely, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend

Fabulous visit with a large group of Family (4 generations). Garden space was amazing. All rooms were clean and comfortable. Enough equipment to cater for all ages even had plenty of cutlery and plates (less chance of breakages) for the younger children.

Our stay was nothing more than amazing . We felt at home and had everything we needed ,Wendy and her husband was fantastic hosts , so friendly and helpful . We was visiting chartwell house and Wendy’s house was a perfect stay over I would 100% recommend staying here .

Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, place was spotless with a huge warm bath! Peaceful location with plenty of parking, perfect. Jayne couldn’t have been any more helpful or responsive, a true example of how an AirBnB host should be.

Daniel is easily the best host I’ve ever had. We are two American students who moved to Nottingham for school and Daniel made us feel right at home. He provided endless recommendations, brought us anything we needed, checked up on us, and was always available. The apartment quickly became our home. It had all the amenities we needed: washer, dryer, iron, kettle, fireplace, hairdryer, etc. He even stocked toiletries and the like. The couch is great for naps and hanging around. The location is super convenient with a bus stop right by, grocery nearby, etc. Daniel is a friendly host who loves to provide his guests with a great experience. Would stay again 10/10.

What an adorable cottage right in the heart of Castleton! An excellent hiking trail right from the door - Mam Tor/Cavedale loop. The cottage was charming and had all the right amenities. The bakery across the street was fantastic! Cafe right next door for coffee/tea! The scenery was breathtaking and the drive up Winnats Pass was memorable! A definite A+ place! Marianne was responsive and very friendly!

I had an absolute incredible experience at Denise’s place, from the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, stylish and thoughtfully prepared. Check-in was easy. The space itself was better than the photos- beautifully decorated and cozy. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated all the little touches that made it feel homely. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and would certainly return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this little gem for anyone visiting the area.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Lovely place to stay as a one night stopover for three of us. We had everything we needed including travel cot for our little one. The place was lovely, clean and tidy and the beds were so comfy. Having food for breakfast there including milk,bread, jams and cereal was really nice too 😊 Anna was lovely to chat to too 😀

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. What a lovely place! It was clean and really beautifully appointed. Lots of nice touches: coffee pods for coffee machine, tea, coffee and biscuits. We were really pleased too that there was a fan as we were there on the hottest day! It's also a 2 minute walk from a Co-op. Such a quirky little place. Loved staying here. There have been a few comments about location. The host had explained that it's a former mining town and it is in a 'normal' small town / village. Whilst there was a bit of 'life' at the bottom of the road by the pizza place, the immediate area was fine and we had no problems. It was super quiet. We also parked the car fine in the road by the apartment.
