Laura was a wonderful host! She reached out to me with details and what to expect prior to check in and then waited for me at the apartment to help make sure everything went smoothly. She was quick to respond whenever I had a question or concern and was incredibly attentive to detail. The Airbnb itself was so cute. I loved the location and found it a much more local and laid back atmosphere than that of the more touristy locations. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The location is beautiful and lively, mostly with locals, which gave it a very authentic feel. Even though there are busy restaurants right outside the building, we slept really well with the window open — and I’m usually someone who prefers complete silence. The atmosphere in the neighbourhood is truly pleasant. The apartment itself is cozy and exactly like the photos. The metro is close by, and we never felt unsafe. We even ran into a few neighbours coming home with classic French groceries (baguettes sticking out of the bags 😄) everyone was friendly. Frederick, the host, was kind and responsive. He was proactive in helping us arrange an earlier check-in, and when we had an issue with the apartment, he reacted immediately and made sure everything was okay. You don't need to worry about being scammed or anything like that — Frederick is genuine, caring, and truly wants his guests to have a good experience.

After a month’s stay during a big transition period, I can honestly say that Cheryl thought of everything and I felt instantly at home in that apartment. She was proactive and so helpful in all communications, and I really appreciate how immaculate and yet authentic her place felt—I couldn’t be more appreciative for all the attention to detail she put into making sure that everything I could ever need was accounted for. The place looks exactly like it does in the photos, but even lovelier in person. And it’s conveniently located right by major metro lines, restaurants, and the gorgeous park. Thank you for everything!
