The apartment is in a large house covered with American vines in the center of the town of Borgo San Lorenzo. The house consists of a double bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Outside there is a courtyard of gray stones and an organic garden full of vegetables grown with love and ancient flowers of yesteryear. The accommodation is for two people, single or as a couple, but there is also the possibility of adding a cot if there is a child present. The Mugello valley has small treasures of rare beauty: the medieval village of Scarperia, the Romanesque churches of Borgo S. Lorenzo, Sant'Agata and the small town of San Giovanni, the house of the painter Giotto in Vicchio. The green walks in the paths of the woods in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the succulent Mugello tortello filled with potatoes, Lake Bilancino near Barberino del Mugello. History, nature and, if you are passionate about motorcycles, there is also the Mugello international racetrack. This was my 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 family apartment on the 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 of the historic 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. It’s on the 𝟱th and 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 of a small building (elevator to the 4th floor + one flight of stairs) in a quiet residential area. For me, it’s a calm corner with a view of the hills and the rooftops. We renovated it recently, keeping the warmth of a real home, hoping you’ll feel part of the city. The sunsets from the entry window are a small extra touch — something I hope will stay with you.
