THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite but nice away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Our holiday property ( house with 2 apartments with respective separate entrance ) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein , right on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm property also leads to the campfire , camping and in winter for tobogganing on your own toboggan slope. The house only serves as a holiday property So it doesn't have a permanent tenant. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask to be considerate to each other.

The studio apartment for 2 people with balcony on the 2nd floor offers everything you need for a relaxing break. It is located directly opposite the spa park with the smelting pond. In the village you will find many restaurants and everything you need to live. The famous romantic hotel with great spa offers is just 4 houses away. The kitchen is fully equipped, the small bathroom is equipped with a high shower. The 140 x 200 cm bed invites 2 people to cuddle. Tourist tax included in price.

You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Harzentdecker; als Wanderer, Skifahrer, Biker, Autofahrer oder gemütlich mit den Harzer Schmalspur-Bahnen. Entfernung zu Bahnhof, Supermarkt, Gaststätte ca. 500 m. The accommodation is oriented to the garden. A large terrace and the garden can be used by the guests. Access to the apartment is through the garden. In close proximity there is a supermarket, with butcher and bakery, a cafe, another bakery and a pharmacy. Breitenworbis is on the A 38 with a direct exit. There are a variety of recreational opportunities in the surrounding area. A bear park, amusement baths, Grenzlandmuseum, and much more.

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.

Welcome to Werder , a small village 5 km from Bockenem and the A7 with connection to the A39. Hanover , Brunswick and Goslar can be reached in about 30 minutes. Shops and restaurants are located in and around Bockenem. The Harz as well as the Weserbergland invite you to hike and cycle. Motorcyclists will also get their money's worth here,we ride a motorcycle ourselves and are at your disposal for tour questions.
