We offer our small, fine vacation home in the Eifel for guests (also with dogs). The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

Live in the listed old building, chill on the private terrace, relax in the tub bath with daylight, cook in your own mini-kitchen. Lots of light and air. There is a small workplace with a computer. The area offers countless restaurants and cafes. Within walking distance are various concert and event venues. The U-Bahn stop Piusstraße is right outside the front door. From there it is 18 minutes to Cologne Fair, 30 minutes to the airport, by short distance to the cathedral/main station and Neumarkt.

Our apartment "Waldblick" is perfect to recover from stressful everyday life. The Königsdorfer Forest (nature reserve) is right at your doorstep and offers numerous hiking opportunities. The apartment is located in our residential building and can be reached via a separate staircase. You can walk to buy things for breakfast (rolls, milk, cold cuts). Supermarkets can be reached in minutes (by car). Connection from Königsdorf (3 km): S12, S13, S19 - Cologne main station - 16 minutes
