Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bern

Our stay was most enjoyable. The house offers all the amenities for a week-long stay. Thirty minutes from the train station, the walk is pleasant. We appreciated the cleanliness of the premises and the modernity of the facilities.

Fantastic experience. Yes it’s an experience more than a stay. Very quiet and peaceful and as people who admire work of other gardening people we enjoyed the greenhouse house very much. The views are peaceful and close enough to Lucerne if you do want to go for dinner into town ( which we did), but with a bit of planning could have avoided by just buying some basics and spending even more time at the house. Emanuel was particularly helpful in the checking in process and went above and beyond. Highly recommend to families and quiet clean small groups. I don’t recommend this place for party animals or if you want to just be in Lucerne most of the time, since it is important to enjoy this place, esp in the summer w all the veggies and fruits being grown by Emanuel’s team. We wish we could have spent more time! We will be back again.

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

I just experienced the best three nights of staying at an Airbnb. I would like to begin with how Andrea helped me plan my itinerary in Switzerland without even booking her place. She was so helpful in chalking out my plan, ways to get there, local recommendations, etc. Her house is magnificent, so tasteful. Her house feels like an ultra luxury stay with most amenities one might need. My kids were so happy with the toys, books play station at her place. The location of her place makes an excellent base to explore lot of neighbouring area in central Switzerland. She recommended some great local attractions which were a delight to visit. Her house is so serene located right next to an open field. I really enjoyed stargazing sitting outdoors sipping some lovely wine. I would rate this stay a 1000/10. I would choose to stay here over any five or seven star property. Her place is not just a stay but an Airbnb experience in itself. Will stay here again for sure.

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. He even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

Beautiful, romantic and dreamy accommodation. Very clean, very well decorated, intoxicating lighting, just like the Prosecco, one of the small touches on our arrival Relaxing exterior, beautiful exposure, sunset, hot jacuzzi, beautiful view. Well thought-out mood lighting. A privileged place for lovers 😍 Can't wait to come back

The apartment was big enough for 4 adults. Bed and sofa were very comfortable. Everything was already prepared for us. Kitchen and Bathroom had everything you need already. The stream behind the house was a pleasant surprise. It was a thrilling mountain drive from Lucerne and Thun for us. Better to drive that hilly stretch during day time for the view and for safety. Highly recommended for families.

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with recent appliances of very good quality (induction stove, vacuum hood of the future, all the necessary utensils available, beautiful fridge... all impeccably clean). Difficult then to return to our modest urban apartment 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. Garbage containers are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously provided with towels of different sizes and much appreciated basics. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hopefully we can come back to Reto in the winter!

Really nice place, just what we were looking for. Quiet and peaceful in the village—perfect for relaxing and taking it easy. The living room was very spacious and great for hanging out. Michal, was super helpful and gave really clear instructions, which made everything easy. We had a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Doris is a wonderful host. We spent my husbands birthday there and he said it was the best he’s ever had. 6 minute walk down to the lake. 15/20 minutes to the main town by foot. 30 minutes ish drive to interlaken the location of the apartment is excellent. The apartment is comfortable with everything you need she has thought of everything. Phone adapters, extension lead and spices to cook. Check in was easy also and communication excellent. Would recommend to anybody looking to visit Thun. Thanks again for a great trip xxx

Unparalleled view and experience! Conveniently located by train and ferry .The hosts are so lovely and welcoming! Even though we arrived late, we were still welcomed and the room was clean and comfortable! It had everything you could possibly need (even a fireplace and charcoal fire for the BBQ). The whole town was almost devoid of tourists and it was so quiet the whole day that you couldn't bear to speak loudly. The lake view was the most special. My mother and I had every meal in the apartment on the balcony. After a long day of sightseeing in the hot weather, swimming in the lake was the best way to cool down and relax. The water was unexpectedly warm and comfortable! If I have the opportunity to visit Switzerland again, I will definitely choose to return here!

The host Caterina is very accommodating and took care of everything directly. We felt very comfortable: a great secluded place in the middle of the mountains with the most amazing views.

David is responsive, caring and easy to communicate with. It is a magical place, eco-co-responsible, conducive to disconnection, walking and for those who wish introspection. Find your scouting soul in this enchanting place in nature. In addition, he himself thought of this construction because of his profession, so the place embodies his values. Amazing place to stay with jaw dropping views!! Nick and his team were lovely and quick to respond even late at night 🫶🏽The cabins were very clean and well decorated. One thing that stood out was the blinds and the bug screen! Would definitely recommend it everyone!!

We had an unforgettable stay at this small wooden Finnish house, full of charm and originality. The central barbecue gives a warm and unique atmosphere, perfect for sharing a good meal. The bed is very comfortable, we slept like babies! Fabrice is a welcoming and caring host. The icing on the cake: direct access to the forest just behind the accommodation, a real timeless moment in the heart of nature. I would highly recommend this exotic experience!

Great mountains and forest surroundings at the entrance of the german-spoken Wallis/Valais area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well taken care of.
