Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bernau bei Berlin

A lovely house to visit Berlin but to relax after a long day. The area is green and tranquil. For a combined travel group ideal that the house has two bathrooms. Lidl is around the corner and a nice Greek restaurant also nearby. Nice big kitchen with a lot of utilities. Definitely a recommendation.

We were in the holiday home by the lake for a good week in May 2025 and enjoyed this time of rest very much. The cottage is located directly on the Rahmersee and the view from the conservatory to the lake is simply fantastic at any time of the day or year. If you are looking for peace and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle, you are in wonderful hands here. The holiday home with the beautiful natural garden was also a great pleasure for our dog. We had a great week's vacation in Germany near Berlin while staying in the countryside, very quiet, peaceful, not far from a few villages with shops and restaurants. A very functional, complete, clean, large accommodation with 2 bedrooms, the small landing with armchairs for reading and view of the small water point at the end of the street was greatly appreciated by the family. This was our first experience with AirBNB and it was really positive. Christian and Sabine are incredibly friendly and helpful. The house is very charming and incredibly well maintained. There is everything you need and more, and it is in a cozy and quiet environment. There is easy transport to Berlin city center by train, from the nearby station, and there are shopping and dining options within walking distance. We will definitely come again.

Manfred's accommodation is very, very nice, super equipped and has a very nice view of the harbor from the terrace. In front of it is a great garden area. We were able to do a lot with cars and bicycles (lake, wildlife park.. canoe would also have been possible). Recommended :)

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment for 3 nights for 3 adults. The neighbourhood has lots of cafes, small shops and bakeries which is great for breakfast. There is also a bus stop M41 which is close to apartment and very frequent which we found convenient. Jan and Julia were very responsive and helpful hosts.

We had a wonderful time in Nancy's apartment. Everything is exactly as described and seen in the pictures. We found it particularly pleasant that coffee, tea, oil, etc. are available in the apartment. The S-Bahn is a few minutes' walk away and shopping facilities are also within walking distance. I could imagine that it gets quite warm in the apartment at higher temperatures, but since we were dealing with cool temperatures, that's just a guess. I can definitely recommend the apartment👍.

We had a fabulous stay at Cornelius’ place as a family of four with two young (ish) children. Cornelius was very responsive and friendly from the moment we booked until we checked out, giving us flexibility on check in and check out to accommodate our flights. The apartment itself was amazing, spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the balcony with incredible views across the city. It was an easy walk to public transport, restaurants, supermarkets, and parks. We will most definitely be back.

Heike has a very nice apartment that has everything needed for a solo traveler like myself. The unit is very modern and situated a couple minutes walk away from a convenient tram stop. Clear communication for checking in and out of the apartment. Can definitely recommend!

This is a great neighbourhood - a few mins walk to the train and just a wee bit longer to the bus - but that's also where there are heaps of shops and a great supermarket. The local Saturday market was a highlight and we enjoyed the local cafe with jazz we stumbled across on Sunday night. The apartment is well designed and equipped - I loved it. Beautiful linen on the beds - big comfortable beds, fresh flowers, good range of condiments. The location and being on the ground floor were the deal breakers. Im already planning my next stay (and will remodel my pwn bathroom based on this very funky one). We stayed 7 nights and the weekend (Fri/Sat) very noisey lots of street noise - however otherwise very peaceful. I'm already planning on how to come back.

Beautiful accommodation surrounded by nature! Perfectly equipped, quiet location and ideal for bike rides and hikes. The beautiful backyard invites you to relax in the sun - we really enjoyed our stay!

The accommodation at Anja and Dennis's was excellent, Denis was very kind and was always present, we only have words of thanks for the very good stay we had. We left the car in the garage of the house and took the train to Berlin, the station is 15 minutes away on foot. There is also free parking at the station where you can leave your car to take the train. The house is in a semi-basement, but it is very comfortable and has all the services.

We really liked the apartment. It has top-notch equipment. The contact with the host was very good. There was fast, very good and helpful communication. The location of the apartment offers a good starting point for excursions. Our conclusion is: highly recommended and we will be happy to come back.

It’s a wonderful place. We all really enjoyed it. I wish we had time to use the pool more because my three year-old grandson had a great time in the pool. The nearby park is great for kids and has an interesting history. The only suggestion I have about this Airbnb is the glass table legs are really a hazard. My daughter in law and I both hurt our feet. I ended up wrapping towels around the legs. Also could use a hook or two in the guest bathroom there is absolutely nowhere to hang a towel. The nearby beer Garden with dozens of birds is great fun as well.

Super nice contact with the host. Uncomplicated check-in, on request a slightly later checkout was also possible. The accommodation is very well equipped, everything you need for the stay and a super comfortable bed and a nice quiet terrace. I would be happy to stay again on my next visit to Berlin!

Spent 2 night at Simon’s house. Everything was as described. The house is right behind a bus stop. The kitchen had everything we would need. It was warm inside the house but there were fans. Would recommend to my friends.

The stay was very nice! Everything was clean and quiet and very comfortable. Everything can be reached within 30 minutes plus that the area itself is beautiful! My partner was in Berlin for once and loved it too! Gladly again !!

A great appartment in a quiet neighbourhood. A five minute walk brings you to the M4 tram which brings you in about half an hour to Alexanderplatz. For us it was a great place to unwind after visiting the city. The place was very clean and full of charm, and Anke is a great host. In short: great choice to stay for Berlin. We wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
