Art Nouveau villa built in 1912 with a large terrace 20 m2 and garden is located on the raised ground floor, a large apartment 80 m2 with everything your heart desires. We take care of the ambience. Close to the center and yet very quiet. There is a church nearby, but you can't hear it inside, as it stops ringing at midnight. The apartment is very nice, large ,clean, bright and newly furnished. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located in a clearing surrounded by forest. Almost no noise from civilization, close to a stream and a waterfall, La Salamandre is a peaceful oasis. Enjoy 3 terraces, cool accommodation even in the middle of summer and abundant nature. La Salamandre is similar to a troglodyte accommodation with its kitchen on the ground floor carved out of the stone. The stone construction gives a very special charm.

A cozy gem, not far from the hustle and bustle of work. Nestled in lush green Jura meadows in the summer or fairytale white snowy landscape in winter. The apartment is in an old converted farmhouse. The farmhouse is secluded in a small hamlet but still close to the cantonal road and not far from the larger towns of Tramelan and St. Imier. Arriving by car is recommended, although there is a bus stop nearby but with a thin timetable.

Garden seating in front of and behind the house for use. Free parking.

The apartment is ideal for walkers who make the trek of the Chemin des Crêtes. The place is very quiet and relaxing because the house is at the end of the street. It has a lovely view of the fields and nature. A spot with private barbecue is available in the warm season. The village is 10km from Biel and Granges, it is served a few times a day by a bus. Unfortunately, there is no business in the village.

Welcome to your home away from home! Our house is located in the Jura foothills just above the village of Pieterlen (Canton Bern). It's close to the bilingual (German and French) city of Biel/Bienne. We are also bilingual (German and English) and can understand/make ourselves understood in French.
