In our cozy country house apartment on the edge of the village you can relax wonderfully and enjoy “life in the country.” Whether for a break from everyday stress, for creative work in the home office in the countryside or for visiting friends and family, you will not lack anything in Hörste. The village-famous “Villa Kunterbunt,” from 1911, once housed the Hörste post office. At that time, the apartment served as a stable for the stagecoach.

My mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. I am furnished so that you can find relaxation and well-being. Through my large window front you can look into the countryside... onto a large meadow, trees and bushes. I've been around for 50 years… even though tiny houses are all the rage right now, I've been around a long time… but I've recently been renovated and look forward to welcoming interesting guests!

In the heart of the Teutoburg Forest, in the middle of the Bad Essen mountain, in the immediate vicinity of the family vacation home Haus Sonnenwinkel, is our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation home for up to four people. Bright and friendly rooms with a great view of the southern Wiehen Hills await you. Many hiking trails can be used around the house.

Stay in the "Hütte am Feld"

Our small "cottage in the field" is located in the quiet district of Lohe with fantastic views of the Wiehen Hills, about 3 km from the city center of Bad Oeynhausen. In our spacious garden lies the family-friendly hut with a west-facing orientation out of sight of our house, which is about 30 meters away. You will enjoy peace, views and privacy.

The 120 sqm apartment is half of a farmhouse from 1898 and has been renovated. Surrounded by fields, the house is in a secluded location and is perfect for enjoying nature and tranquility. There is a garden with terrace and also a grill available on request. From the south terrace you can see over fields to the nearby Wiehn Mountains.
