Birken Cottage - Holidays in the Herbsthausen sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Apartment in the Birkholz estate house

The former Bismarck estate house, built in 1770 and completely renovated in 2009, is an ideal place for vacations and also workation - for working and relaxing. The stylishly furnished separate apartment (155 sqm) with private entrance, underfloor heating, antique tiled stove, a workplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a hot tub next to the apartment's own terrace as well as a sauna cottage in the extensive park offers the possibility of a varied break in every season.

Vacation home "Am Tangerberg"

Welcome to Tangermünde. The vacation rental is located in a vacation home with 2 other vacation rentals. The old town of Tangermünde with all its sights, cafes, restaurants and shops is only a few minutes' walk away (about 400 m). In addition, you will find the harbor promenade, the Tangier and the Elbe wetlands in the immediate vicinity (about 300 m). Our apartment is the ideal base for exploring the old town of Tangermünde and the Elbe landscape.

Lehm & Land: Holidays in a half-timbered house

Welcome to Vollenschier on the edge of the Letzlinger Heath in the Altmark. Our listed half-timbered house from the 19th century has been lovingly restored with clay, wood and old bricks. The two cozy guest apartments offer peace, nature and a special atmosphere - ideal for couples, families and all those who are looking for the authentic and original. Surrounded by meadows and forests, this is the perfect place to unwind, discover and recharge in nature.

Time out on the Mittelland Canal

Visit us in our small apartment (30 m²) in a quiet location overlooking the Mittelland Canal. The large garden, which you are welcome to use, and the wind-protected terrace promise relaxation in almost any weather. Parking for bicycles is available on the property (partially covered). This is also the habitat of our Labrador mix Luci. The journey by car to Magdeburg is 15 minutes and to Haldensleben 21 minutes.

Tiny house - clay plastered island of tranquility, close to the Elbe

Enjoy the sounds of nature as you stay at this special place. You will sleep in the ecologically developed construction trailer with lovingly designed clay plaster. The bed is 1.60 m wide. There is an outdoor separate toilet and an outdoor shower within walking distance. There is a gas stove and the possibility to cook but no running water. This has to be picked up in the faucet within walking distance.

Accommodation of the star park. Our 1-room apartment is located in a converted barn on our Mannaz project farm. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a 140x200 bed, a dining area for two people and a private lovingly designed bathroom. Offers such as horse-based therapy, drum journey, ceremonies, woodwork (...), sauna use and food can be booked at an additional cost. Live your change 🦋

Relax in the outdoor hot tub (year-round) and watch the trees. Great for couples, families, nature/dog lovers and individualists. Stay in the forest with all the comforts you need to relax. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub (year-round), sauna, children's rope swing, campfire, Weber kettle grill 57 cm, 1000 m² completely fenced forest property. When you book, you are the only ones on the premises.
