The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it is important to protect the ecological and local.

Welcome to rent our guest house, with room for 6, possibly more guests. It is located about 20 meters from the beach. Here you have access to rowboat, canoe and also a wood-burning sauna. There are good opportunities for forest walks, swimming and fishing. On the property there are goats, chickens and dogs. Hopefully you won't be scared of dogs. They usually go loose on the grounds. The nearest store is in Sandsjöfors 4 km, Ekenässjön 12 km or in Vetlanda, Eksjö, Nässjö and Sävsjö, all located 25 km from Djuvanäs.

The house has 8 bedrooms with a total of 16 beds, extra children's room with another 3 beds. 3 fully tiled bathrooms with shower and toilet, large dining room with room for 20 people, fully equipped kitchen, 2 dishwashers, 2 living rooms both with TV, 2 terraces and a large balcony, 2 fireplaces. Bikes can be rented and booked 48 hours in advance.

Huset är på toppen av en kulle, omgiven av skog och med utsikt mot sjön. På den stora altanen njuter du av sol hela dagen. I vardagsrummet är stora fönster mot skogen. Området är naturnära, stillsamt och barnvänligt. Badplatsen är nära och du kan ta långa promenader i skogen. Det finns möjlighet att hyra båt, kanot och köpa fiskekort. Huset är en bra utgångspunkt för utflykter till Astrid Lindgrens värld, High Chaparral, Glasriket, den gamla trästaden Eksjö och flera vackra naturreservat.

Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

The Guesthouse Uddebo is situated right by lake Rosjön, 10 km north of the pretty wooden town of Eksjö. Originally a traditional log cabin the guesthouse was renovated and extended in 2019. The natural garden of Uddebo is surrounded by lake Rosjön on three sides, giving direct access to the water, as well as a magnificient lake view from all parts of the house. From the living room and master bedroom you reach a wooden deck with stairs to the garden and a small jetty.
