Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bogue Sound

This was our first time in Atlantic Beach and we all really liked it and would like to come back. We would gladly stay at this property again. It is in a quiet, private location, yet very close to the action. We were very comfortable with the size and furnishings. The owner even arranged a sign and balloons in the kitchen wishing us a happy anniversary. The back decks and yard were great for our dogs. We like things as quiet and uncrowded as possible, so we went to the beach at the New Bern Street public access point. There are restrooms and an outdoor shower. Once you are on the actual beach, you can only see big beach houses and no businesses, hotels or condos. We also enjoyed the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, and Cape Lookout National Seashore, and highly recommend both. Having a Dollar General right down the street was very convenient, and there is a Food Lion not far down the road. There are also plenty of beach/souvenir shops close by. We enjoyed our stay very much! The place had everything we needed and more! Host was very responsive, helpful and very accommodating. Great place to relax and many places to explore nearby. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

We really enjoyed staying here! It was nice being closer to the beach and the marina in Psalter Path. it was our first time on the island and even though the weather was not great we had fun. Thanks David for making sure we had some snacks and necessities in the house!

The LightHouse was an amazing experience for my family. We over-packed to make sure we had everything, but Janet and the LightHouse crew made sure we had everything we needed and more. This was a very nice home with easy access to the beach. Several local Spots to eat close by as well. The home was super clean with comfortable beds and good linens. Preston was very responsive to my messages and flexible. I would highly recommend his home.

We loved staying here! It was close to everything, but in a really nice quiet location. The house was clean and well stocked. The disco ball was a fun touch! Chris was extremely responsive and was super easy to work with. We highly recommend this property!!

If you’re visiting Emerald Isle or Atlantic Beach.. Dodie’s place is a must! The dock view was amazing & serene. Cottage is nestled in quiet area & super comfy. My pup loved running out back. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & will rebook when visiting EI & AB again !

My husband needed a place to stay in the area for work. Since he was going to be there for a couple of months, a hotel or motel would not have been ideal. When I reached out to Jeannie for advice she was wonderful. She walked me through the process and was extremely helpful and friendly. Her cottage was perfect for him with plenty of room, a big kitchen, and beautifully decorated. Jeannie was very responsive when I had questions, and would check in periodically to make sure that he had everything he needed. The cottage was fully equipped with everything that you would need, and she even had beach supplies. I mentioned that he was looking for a small BBQ grill while he was there, and she messaged back that they had one and would deliver it that evening! She also offered advice on great restaurants and places to go, and many places were within walking distance. I would highly recommend Jeannie's place.

Great beach access…the unit was very clean. Had a view of ocean and felt safe in neighborhood. Was not but a block or two from shops. Overall thought unit was a little larger but it was sufficient for the 3 of us. We had a nice time!

Great location tucked back in an older neighborhood on the water, clean and comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Great place to stay! Jarrod and his wife were very friendly and responsive with any questions on the app. They even let us check in early. Accommodating bikes was so thoughtful and fun for us as we biked to coffee places and lunch. We kayaked to palm tree island and that was so much fun! It’s also a great location to walk to the beach as well! The balcony was so peaceful in the morning and at night. 10/10 experience and first time vacationing to Wilmington. Will 100% come back!

Cute little place. My husband was there for work so did not get to enjoy the beach side much but very comfortable and isn’t to far from restaurants or other things to do. Would stay there again. And the host so sweet and fast at responding.

Comfortable 2nd floor apartment in a quite neighborhood. Ample parking. Has 3 beds: queen and single in the bedroom and queen-size sofa bed (pretty comfortable) in the main room. Full kitchen with all the necessities, bathroom with shower. Nice open deck - was great to dry out diving equipment. Everything was clean, in good shape and matched the descriptions / photos. A few restaurants within 5 min drive; we found a couple within walking distance. Overall, a nice and clean apartment and a good value.

Perfect stay for a couples get away. Within walking distance from the waterfront and lots of restaurants. Quaint but beautiful!

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our long weekend stay - the location was perfect, with restaurants, shopping and beach access within steps. Very convenient and felt safe to walk around with our son, both morning and at night. The dedicated parking spots, along with generous beach day and in-unit amenities were very much appreciated. The morning and evening views from the balcony were peaceful - by far one of our favorite long weekend memories as a family. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect beach trip location with responsive, welcoming hosts. We will be booking again!

Stayed here for about a week for a romantic getaway with my partner. The place was beautiful and just like the pictures. Very close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. It was so clean and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our second family vacation to this rental and we were not disappointed. we watched the dolphins while drinking coffee off the balcony. walked down to the beach every day and enjoyed the convenience of having everything just steps away. Christine has chairs and beach toys available for you to use so it's perfect if you're flying in. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We loved staying here! Great location near the beach and in a private area. Everyone we saw was extremely friendly. The indoor/outdoor pools were another perk. Overall, we had a great time and would love to come back in the future! The condo was right at the beginning of Emerald Isle before going further to the area where there are more tourists-Which we thought was another plus. Thank you!!!

It was exactly what we expected. Plenty of room for my wife and I. A peaceful and quiet part of the island. The view is incredible. Coffee joy was a great place to get our morning coffee(a couple minutes down the road. Went to splash by sea, sears landing and river view cafe to eat. All were very good.

Logan is a fantastic host. All questions were answered very quickly and he made sure we were satisfied. The room is absolutely beautiful and the mattress is extremely comfy. There was even fresh juice and fruit in the fridge for us!

Great place to stay. Very relaxing. High tide is right up to the sandbags so you can access the beach until later in the morning which was fine for us. After that the beach is open all day. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

The condo was clean upon arrival, and the view was amazing! Lisa was very prompt at answering any questions. The balcony was small but still very nice, and the chairs were more comfortable than the normal wooden balcony chairs that have been at other rentals. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from any neighboring condos. I would definitely stay here again if I chose to vacation in Atlantic Beach again.

My eighth stay in this lovely condo, and I have my next reservation made. I love this place and I feel fortunate to be able to visit. Highest possible rating for hospitality every visit.
