Cottage holiday rentals in Bollenstreek

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a lovely time in IJsselstein, it is a wonderful cottage with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Jokelien was a fantastic host, very flexible and helpful. Can only recommend, would love to come back!

We found a lovingly designed, very well equipped house in every way. Everything was as described and as pictured. The house is quietly very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost daily. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

Fantastic place with fantastic host. Claudia is the most easy going land lord, very communicative and helpful. For sure we will come back everytime when in in town AND - it was not our first time with Claudia's accommodation. Best recommendation from us!

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay with Judy. She is very kind, courteous and available for all questions. The whirlpool was also great fun, we even had our privacy there❤️ If you want to escape everyday life and stress, I can highly recommend Judy's accommodations. I would be happy to come back.

What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Beautiful house and perfect host!

The house was a 10 out of 10 for us. The location of the house, the amenities, the wonderful balcony towards the water with the ducks was simply an absolute dream.

Angelique picked us up right at the parking lot and showed us everything in detail. She even brought my suitcase to the house in a wheelbarrow and organized a boat for us for two days, absolutely great! The cottage is in an absolutely quiet location, directly on a canal and very nicely furnished. Simply perfect for spending a few quiet days. Absolute tip, you can even take the boat directly into the city, dock there and shop, eat or shop :) Always happy to come back!

We had wonderful days at Frederika's, the place looks even nicer in real life than on the pictures. Special highlight next to the incredibly beautiful view - the rowing boat! Which we were allowed to rent for free! Small but nice. Would recommend! Note: Wifi is certainly not required in such an environment, but would have made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

Frank and Tucha‘s apartment is an absolut Pearl of an Airbnb. We felt super welcomed, the apartment is as described and looks as it’s published online. Compared to other Airbnb’s, the apartment (bedroom / bathroom / livingroom and especially the kitchen) is fully equipped including all necessities and tools you‘d wished or could ask for. The interior is quite stylish and still in perfect shape. We had a couple of amazing days (pure sunshine) and enjoyed the huge garden after chilling at the beach for some barbecue or just some peaceful hours. We will certainly come back! We spent a week with our dog in the accommodation and had a great time. The apartment is perfect for a holiday with a dog - just a few minutes by car from the beach and about 20 minutes to the center of Amsterdam. So we could enjoy both beach and city holidays. The apartment is a bit small, but very cozy and ideal for two people. The small, private front garden with seating is particularly practical - perfect for dog owners or smokers. The communication with the hostess was excellent: friendly, helpful and always available, without being intrusive. We were completely satisfied and even spontaneously extended our stay. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Gerrit Jan was the BEST Airbnb host we have EVER had!!! We had been planning to walk from the train station and we were so shocked when he offered to pick us up! He was there waiting and was so friendly and hospitable. Throughout our 5 nights there we loved talking to him and we had great conversations. His garden house is so cute and beautifully decorated and we loved that it is located right on a canal and footsteps away from shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved Leiden!!! The buildings and streets are so beautiful! We had so much fun walking and biking along the canals and checking out the Saturday market, and it was easy to travel by train to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft, etc for fun day trips. We really recommend staying here!

At Paulien's place we experienced Dutch hospitality. The place where the guest house is located is just wonderful. Nature, water channels, ducks and geese. If a person wants to relax from stress, this is just a wonderful place. The house was clean, smelled fresh, everything necessary was there. We were made to feel welcome there. Paulien had respected our privacy, but at the same time she was always ready to provide support and assistance. It was a wonderful holiday and we hope we will be able to visit them again.

We had a wonderful time at Trudi's! The accommodation is superbly equipped and the location is fantastic. We will be happy to come back :)

Timo is a super friendly, attentive and helpful host. We found the beachhouse even more beautiful on site than shown in the photos - very clean, cozy and functional. On the beautiful terrace you could have a good breakfast and relax in peace. The beach is within walking distance. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely book this place again. Many thanks to Marielle and Timo for this great stay in Noordwijk.

The Weidehuisje is really a very magical place for relaxation. The view was beautiful on the water and the cows. Schermerhorn is a very sweet place with a fantastic landscape. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need.

We spent 3 nights in Claudia's house. We felt very comfortable, we lacked nothing. A really beautiful cottage. Very quiet location, with the bike you can reach everything super. We will be happy to come back!
