Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

This yurt and everything around it is so incredibly wonderful! The hosts are super warm and great, we had 100% privacy and yet the feeling it is always someone there who cares. The environment offers a lot of peace, you can switch off and watch the animals around you all day and the stars at night. And if you need a little more action, there are bicycles that you can grab to explore the area and the sea. The yurt has everything you need to feel comfortable. Games, record player, a great kitchen, clean and luxurious bathroom and shower, lots of chill options inside and outside and the private hot tub on the terrace makes everything almost too perfect. We really have nothing to complain about, it was just great!! Thanks so much :)

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

This place is so adorable! It has an amazing terrace, and right in the center of the city with so much to do. The place was so comfortable and had all the amenities we would have needed. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to explore Amsterdam!

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

Annete is a great host and her accommodation is highly recommended. Everything you need (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, train station to Amsterdam) is in the immediate vicinity. The cottage is very quiet, with a small front garden. We had a very nice week there. The surroundings are picturesque, the sea and the beach are super clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, we lacked nothing in the house. The water is very good and soft. There is a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, kettle, coffee machine. You have to keep in mind that the rooms have no doors and the stairs up are very steep, so that a toilet visit at night is hardly possible. But it didn't bother us. We will be happy to come back!!!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What an amazing week at 't Vaerkenskot! A beautifully renovated and restored pig barn! You can see it was a labour of love for Lukkie and Lambertus. What an amazing job they have done. The property was set in the gorgeous Zeeland countryside in a small peaceful Hamlet called Dreischor. They welcomed us with open arms and we immediately felt at home. Our dog Betsy normally takes time to adjust, but she felt at home instantly, which is a good sign! We felt we had enough privacy, but with the option to bump into our lovely neighbours we would say hello and chat when we wanted. Lambertus and Lukkie gave us great recommendations in the area. The property had all the amenities and was well kept, clean and with the most beautiful gardens! Although it rained (a lot!) during our stay, we kept warm and happy reading and enjoying the peaceful rest. There’s lots of things in area. Beaches and walks, beautiful cafes. We would stay again!! If you want to stay in a place that feels like home, this is the place for you! Off the beaten path a little, Lotte's place is such a reprieve after a busy day of sightseeing. It was wonderful to go for walks in the evening and enjoy such amazing farmhouse breakfasts in the morning. Lotte was extremely responsive and her place is amazing! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

We had some lovely days in the bungalow, the camp site has lots to do for kids, and the beach is beautiful. Good place for 4 adults and 2 kids in the bunk bed. Will come back

At Wendela and Martin you have a wonderfully quiet (private) place. They live on the road, but they have built a cottage behind them with everything they need. Also a private terrace where it was wonderful to stay in the evening. Wendela and Martin are very friendly, warm welcome with delicious strawberries and cold drinks in the fridge. The cottage is equipped with all comforts and has good beds and a nice shower. We were looking for a place to stay because our son was participating in the Ironman 70.3 and this place is definitely recommended. But it is also a good base for beautiful bike rides. We have therefore had a number of wonderful days.

Fabulous place just outside of Utrecht. Perfect for biking, walking, and running. Peaceful atmosphere. Great host. Very nice and engaging. Highly recommend it!

We spent a lovely, relaxing long weekend at Madeleen‘s place, a cute apartment in a charming old house with a gorgeous garden directly by the Ijsselmeer. While there is no proper kitchen, Madeleen provides everything you need to make yourself a coffee or a sandwich, with a coffeemaker and a large fridge at your disposal. There is a pretty good restaurant in walking distance, and quite a few more a short car drive away. Getting to Amsterdam is easy, and after a busy day in the city, the garden and the quiet are absolutely wonderful, as is a quick dip in the cool water. Madeleen‘s friend Anna welcomed us and was a perfect hostess who we very much enjoyed chatting with. We had a great time and hope to visit again sometime soon. Thanks for everything!

We were six on a family vacation with two kids and grandma and grandpa. We had a great time at Karin's house. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished. The park offers many activities, but not everything is described as on the homepage (e.g. electric cars for kids are not in operation). We were in the off-season in May and there was already quite a lot of activity in the park. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. For us with the kids, it was perfect. The beach is fantastic. Would love to come back!
