Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bolton District

We booked it as we were completing Bolton 70.3. House was perfect for our needs for the weekend. I would recommend to anyone completing the race next year. Communication was great with a pain free check in.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at Joanne’s while visiting family. The property is very comfortable and we were made very welcome, including with a very generous hamper of local produce and fresh eggs. The house is set in a very peaceful and picturesque part of the Lancashire countryside.

Will definitely book again, cottage was ideal, had afternoon tea at Summerseat Garden Centre which was a short walk away, which I cannot recommend highly enough. The area around the cottage was gorgeous and ideal for a stroll with the dog. A couple of suggestions, maybe….an air fryer would be good and cheaper on the electricity! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Amazing kitchen we both loved cooking in our tapas meal in it. It was great to have a selection of herbs and spices already in the kitchen. Everything clean and tidy . 3rd time staying at this lovely Georgian ground floor apartment with Tina being a fantastic accommodating host. Absolutely in the centre of Clitheroe, but yet so quiet & tranquil with reliable, secure parking. The accommodation was great for us as all on one level with 2 big bedrooms, each having separate shower room, one en-suite. It is so well equipped and you feel very at home when staying here. From this accommodation you have such easy access to so many lovely places to visit for eating, drinking, local towns, National Trust halls, breweries, famous sausage shop, great pie shops, trough of bowland, pendle hill & many more lovely places .….we will be returning.

Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Ebor Suite and wished it was for longer. Beautiful decor and everything you need for a short stay. Great detailed instruction for check in. Close to a co-op if you need a few supplies and plenty of restaurants and takeaways. We would certainly return and would recommend to others.

Our stay was brilliant for a weekend getaway to Manchester. Beautiful and relaxing surroundings out of the city, but close enough to city to keep you preoccupied. The log cabin is completely private, but facilitated with everything you need. Chris was a brilliant host, very informative of local businesses, we even had a lovely breakfast at local recommendation of a farm shop/cafe. Will be recommending to friends.

We loved our stay at Gina’s and hope to come back sometime soon. Hebden Bridge is a friendly, charming village - so lovely - and Gina’s place above her fused glass studio is so pretty and filled with light and pops of color. We could walk all over, including in a nearby park and along the river. Thank you, Gina!

Exactly as described. Set up with everything needed for a self catering stay. Central location to shops and beach. The flat decor is a little tired but was clean and comfortable.

Oh my goodness, they had thought of everything!!! Having given us a lovely warm welcome we discovered there was food to get us going in the fridge, the facilities were above and beyond and the setting unbelievably beautiful. The first Airbnb I’ve been to that has toothpicks, postitnotes and binoculars!!
