The Elbe, biosphere reserve, water crossing point and others offer many recreational opportunities in nature.

This romantic remise is located on Potsdam villa premises featuring old fruit and walnut trees, directly at the shore of Jungfernsee. In the summer, you can enjoy a swim in the lake before breakfast, if you wish. Only a stone’s throw away from the world-famous Glienicke Bridge. For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

Here you have to be able to heat a tiled stove in the cooler season. A steep staircase leads up to the beds. Downstairs is the kitchen with fridge, stove and oven. The bathroom with shower + toilet is sufficient for daily hygiene. An old gramophone pleases the heart. Ideal for people who value coziness over the highest level of comfort.

Gommern is a small town in the countryside near Magdeburg (15 km). In summer, nearby lakes in the beautiful recreational area invite you to swim (free access). Long walks or a small bike trip, we have a lot of nature to offer and are happy to give excursion tips. The center of Wittenberg can be reached in just a few minutes by car, bus or bike. The apartment is located near the Elbe Cycle Route.
