We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights for a 40th birthday get away with family and 3 small dogs. From start to finish, Nina was an outstanding host. We arrived at the cottage without issue, helped by the clear instructions provided! The cottage sits in the most gorgeous surroundings with spectacular views and dog-proof garden! The cottage itself is simply beautiful with so much thought has gone into every element. Absolutely everything you could possibly need during your stay is there, ready to go and well placed to find. Nina is as so kind and helpful, responding to questions so quickly and with seemingly endless patience. The local walks in both the country and villages are fantastic- with some excellent pub/ restaurant options around, including many which are dog friendly! Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! We found ourselves checking our diaries towards the end of the stay to organise our next visit! Thank you again, Nina!

We've just spent a lovely week at this property in Hayfield. It was a great accommodation and perfectly matched our needs for our first ever visit to the Peak District. The local area and walks are stunning and varied in nature, everything from flat (dismantled railways) to the challenge of Kinder Scout. We spent hours walking and exploring but it was always a pleasure to return home at the end of a long day for a hot shower and comfortable surroundings. The excellent communication and simple check in/out made for a stress free stay. The house is well equipped and there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen but we didn't actually use them very much as eating out in the village pubs and restaurants was our preference after a long day in the hills. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return in the future.

A beautiful and modern apartment at the edge of the peak district. It was fully equipped should you need to cook and even had tea bags and sugar etc for guests to use. My dad and I stayed here due to a friend of his passing and Leanne and Vincent were very understanding allowing us an early check in. The views were beautiful and the house was exactly what we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A really nice getaway place, whether for a few days or a longer break. The Annex was very cosy, clean and well equipped which made it really easy to settle in. Beautiful views from the bedrooms and a cosy TV room to settle in for the evenings. Very easy car access and ample space for parking right in front that was easy to reverse into. Paula was extremely responsive with her messages, provided clear instruction for finding the place and checking in and also very kindly accommodated our request for a slightly later checkout, which was really helpful! The location is on the outskirts of Chapel, so no noisy traffic, yet within easy access to shops and eating places as well as the many walking trails. All in all, a lovely place to spend relaxing time at and we’ll certainly consider this again in the future!

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Exactly what we needed - a quiet bolt hole in which to relax after the long journey to/from Manchester and the south. This meant that our dog was welcome too! Lovely grounds. Super clean and comfortable cottage with thoughtful touches so that you could relax immediately.

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

Wow what an amazing property, just wish I could have stayed longer. Home from home with more. Comfortable bed/s great quality including bedding and towels of luxury quality. Thoughtful touches on arrival. Local amenities, plenty of restaurants/pubs walking distance. Beautiful local reservoir walks, plenty to do and see. Spa was an amazing added bonus to enjoy your stay with full relaxation under the stars and after a long walk. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to my family and friends already. One of those weekend breaks that you don't want to end. Thanks for everything.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Samantha was so helpful and extremely accommodating, always replying promptly to messages. The property was extremely well maintained and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! Attention to detail and generous welcome gift made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Loved our stay, very accommodating, very quiet and cosy. Easy to find and a lovely pub nearby for food. Sadly couldn’t use the pool due to having the dog with us but looked great! Very reasonably priced and nice little farm shop on site. A lovely stay! Also brilliant communication. Thanks

A lovely cosy cottage, spread over 3 floors, so close to the town centre. The cottage was tucked away on a bank accessed only by a few cars, so it was very quiet. The hot tub was easily accessible from the kitchen on the ground floor & a hedge ensured it was private & not overlooked. The welcome pack was super, very thoughtful & there were even treats for the dogs!! Many thanks, we had a lovely break 😊

The most perfect place to stay for the Peak District. The location is ideal if you are wanting to explore & have amazing walks. The house was so helpful fully equipped with more than the basics - easy to live in and helpful for cooking. The host was so helpful and we had super easy communication. The area was so quiet and peaceful, gorgeous garden & very comfortable beds. Also not far to Castleton which is a gorgeous village

Georgie is a great host very helpful and full of information. The accommodation is perfect has everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. very clear on things to do and places to visit like attractions, bar's and restaurants local public transport and even dog friendly places and walks. I would highly recommend this as a place to book and will be booking again in the future when return to the Manchester area thanks Georgie kind regards Mo

A lovely spot to spend our first few nights as a married couple. The cottage is charming and done up nicely with all amenities. Neither of these things bothered us but it’s worth noting that parking is crazy in the whole of Hepworth. Also it’s a lovely old stone cottage so sound travels from the other cottages. Phil and Anne were wonderful, even before we arrived we needed to switch our dates and they were happy to accommodate the change without fuss. On arrival we were shown where to park and around the accomodation, which was just as described, clean,tidy, super comfortable and had all the described amenities and lots of little touches that made our stay perfect. Thank you both for a wonderful base for our trip.

we really love Katie's place. second time for us to stay there as its so convenient being so close to our Mums house, which we are renovating. It's like home from home for us. The flat is right in the middle of Marple town with good parking and a very safe feeling. The shops, restaurants and pubs are right on the doorstep. The king-size bed is very comfortable, the flat is very clean, a nice size for two people and it is dog friendly. There is lots to do in the surrounding area if you have a car, but as Marple also has a railway station it is not vital. Jane was very helpful all the way through the stay suggesting an excellent bakery / cafe directly across the street. We would highly recommend this place as somewhere to stay.

With 3 kids and a dog. This was a great place to stay. A good space for off road parking on a quiet road when we arrived. House was as the pictures had shown. Lovely, clean and tidy. Downstairs had plenty of space for us. Upstairs bedrooms were lovely and bright, beds were comfortable and dual head shower in bathroom was excellent. Nice space out the back for the dog to run around. Local park close by that the kids and dogs could use. Good location for access to central Manchester and surrounding areas. Not far from Reddish vale which was great for walking the dog. Our host Tamara was very friendly, happy to help and responded quickly when I messaged. Overall great experience and would recommend using this AirBnB.

Have just come home from the most perfect stay at Rose Cottage. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, absolutely gorgeous! Fran is the most incredible host, so kind, friendly and helpful. And had thought of everything we could possibly need and so much more! We will definitely be coming back to stay at Rose Cottage, without hesitation. Thank you again Fran!
