Holiday rentals with beach access in Bowness-on-Windermere

Emma had made a real effort to make this apartment a great experience with lots of little touches. Very new and clean

A lovely flat, in a great location for the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the balcony and as the weather was kind to us, we were able to make the most of it. 😎. A parking space around the back of the property was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay. Morecombe is a hidden gem!

Emma was a great host, the location was great and surrounding was beautiful. Excellent location for a walk on promenade. Easy to get to Lancaster and the lakes from bus stop outside.

A beautiful, relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Very well equipped and homely. The kitchen is great and had everything we needed. Fantastic views of the sea. Village was lovely and local area was great to explore.

Yvonne welcomed us to her lovely little annex. The parking was great and safe for our little car. The room was light and beautifully decorated. Yvonne responded very quickly to any queries. We enjoyed our stay and it was very convenient for meeting up with our friends.

We know the area well and stay often, but it was nice to stay at an Air BnB for a change. We needed somewhere safe to park our motorbike and it was nicely tucked away. Had the best sleep we've had in ages and would totally recommend the fab little basement flat.

Excellent stay! The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location was great and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc.

The house was a great place from which to explore the surrounding towns and villages. Ulverston is a lovely little town to visit and a short drive away. Anthony was very helpful and accurate on his description of Askam. We settled in on the evenings and lit the cozy log burner. Anthony was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay - close to Ulverston, the Priory and many places we aimed to see during our visit. Lindsay corresponded quickly. The house is very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated as in the photos - we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Lindsay. :)

We had the most amazing stay in Silverdale! The beach is just a few minutes walk away and we were so excited to see a seal! Such a wonderful experience. We ate at the pub next door one night and the food was fantastic. The kitchen inside the cottage had everything we needed to prepare meals as well. It’s so spacious in the cottage and we spent a very lovely, relaxing few days here. We could have happily stayed longer and would certainly come back. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with plenty to do in the area.

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

Had a lovely stay in this lovely house! There is lots of space and very comfy! The host is lovely and had quick and helpful replies.

We had a lovely stay here last week. The house worked well for all of us. It was our son’s birthday and there was lots to do in the area. As well as a visit to sizergh castle and a game of laser tag, we also had a trip to furness abbey, the cumbrian cow ice cream, the laurel and hardy museum and a walk round the town. We also took the boat out to pile island and enjoyed some meals out at manor house oxen park and masons arms. The hot tub at house was a welcome addition! thanks again for a lovely stay.

This well appointed place was ideal for an extended family holiday for 6 adults and 1 grandchild. The facilities are excellent and the pack provided by the host offered great advice on what to do. The weather was relatively kind most days and there was plenty to do locally, but even when it rained, the garden room is such a lovely place to sit and watch the world and the rain go by. First class and won't hesitate to book again.

We loved it. It was perfectly located for what we wanted to do, the view was amazing from the Patio breakfast and drinks. We were unbelievably lucky with the weather for late September, and didn’t need all the woollens that we had taken. It’s a steep hill to get to the place from the town, but very quickly got used to it. Overall. Super super happy with the place and if we come back to the lakes we would choose to come back here. (For the owners - many apologies for the broken glass, meant to replace but ran out of time).

The flat was lovely, beautifully kitted out and with some interesting lighting features! There was lots of space inside. We appreciated being able to stay a bit longer before checking out so we could have a planned zoom meeting. Thank you for being accommodating.

Great location for us visiting family. Would be good for walkers /bird watchers etc as good coastal access . Lovely view from main living area.

Lovely peaceful place, perfect for exploring the local area. The cottage was great and had everything I needed. Margaret even left a pint of milk on the doorstep for when I arrived. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family 😊

Great place to stay with a great view and so close to scafell pike. We struggled to find in the first place but the instructions were clear when on the right road and was our own fault. Can't fault the apartment itself has everything you need.

loved the place only thing missing was some extra heating apart from radiator in lounge it got cool in there a couple of times whilst watching the panoramic views the bedroom was never cold .The loo and kitchen were tiny but that's okay as we didn't stay in them long kitchen equipment was all there .will be returning next year very close to dog friendly beach

If you’re looking for a lovely apartment with stunning views, you will not be disappointed by this stay in Morecambe. It’s in a quiet but ideal location with a short beach front walk to Happy Mount Park on one side or a longer beach front walk to the Morecambe pier, on the other. If you love Morecambe or are looking for a seaside apartment, I could not recommend this enough!
