Lovely, cosy and quiet cottage. Beautifully clean and very well appointed. Pretty and peaceful village. Lots of helpful tips and info from the hosts. Would come again.

We stayed here for a week late May/early June and all agreed that this is one of the nicest places -- if not the nicest -- that we have ever stayed in. The airbnb itself is beautiful. Simon was a gracious and generous host and had left the kitchen stocked with all kinds of goodies which he encouraged us to consume. We had 3 dinners at the Shoulder of the Mutton -- just because we so much liked their food -- took a number of hikes, checked out Liverpool and visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park [very much worth the hour drive] and Chatworth. All was stunning. I can't recommend this place more highly.

I can't say enough about this quaint and refreshing stay! Bradwell is a quiet and peaceful escape, and the cottage was as pictured, whimsical and comfortable. I called it a feminine hobbit hole, with all amenities and extra decor to make it homey. Sadly there was a heat wave, and the bedroom gets the most sun, so it was not a comfortable sleep, but every detail (bathtub, updated appliances, pretty tiling) made it aesthetically excellent and worth it! Loved the village walks, and all strangers were helpful in finding the cottage and recommending nearby village excursions. Thankful for Fran's communication and helpful advice. Thank you for a beautiful stay before weeks of work in the city!
