We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with all comforts. Good bed, complete kitchen, wonderful shower. Location in nature. Great for walking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Repeatable. Petri and René

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

Rarely seen such a beautiful place to stay! The house is so cozy, lovingly and tastefully furnished. You feel right at home! And the garden is simply a dream. Right next to the forest, so you can hear the birds in the morning and evening. I'm sure we'll be back!

A nice cozy little house in the middle of the forest, you are surrounded by nature and trees. Absolute peace and privacy, no possibility of looking into the property from the outside. We were a little too early, but we were able to get to know Johan personally, a very polite and hospitable person. The location is unbeatable. You can walk to Norg in 22 minutes. There are a variety of restaurants with outdoor areas, cafés and shops such as a drugstore and supermarket. Also sights such as old windmills. Absolute recommendation!!! Thank you Johan!

My family and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Janke's place. The house was as described and the village was beautiful. we visited Schiermonnikoog Island which is a little gem! Thank you Janke for the stress free stay.

A beautiful, modern finished remote cottage by the water. Super beautiful in nature, you can see deer and hares walking. Water on the other side. Great for cycling, going to the city. Kitchen has everything, nice shower. Clean rooms with comfortable beds.

This place is ideal in every way: the warm welcome by the hostess, the lovely complete house, also very suitable for my mother of 87 years (ground floor, amenities), conveniently located with a lovely garden. Thanks for all the tips, Miranda. We have enjoyed it! See you again!

The check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can access the lake directly via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

Great books available, inspiring. And the choice of music is also interesting and original. The house has everything you need, well maintained, but not superfluous or confusingly large. Atmospherically decorated, candles and beautiful light. It is as neat as if it were a private household. We are fans of the island cottage!

We had a great stay. Everything is near by and it still wonderfully private. We stayed with our family of two younger girls and they also found the place wonderful. All amenities were present including coffee and tea. Everything was clean and it had a great bed. No complaints at all! The only thing I would say for families wanting to stay here, is the following. If you plan on cooking it is possible and everything is there, but lacking an extraction fan, it being 2 hobs and no dishwasher I personally wouldn’t think of cooking a week or so. Nothing against the place though, just an aside for families that would think of staying here. We decided that we wanted to get take away and there are many options within a couple of minutes (walking) so that worked out brilliantly :) Thanks for the stay and we are planning on coming back in the future!

We had a wonderful weekend at Sjoerdsje and Lennard's place! Top location! Clean, tidy and practically furnished. We had everything we needed! The communication was also smooth and they were very friendly. We will definitely come back!

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Lily’s place. Tastefully decorated in blue and white, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good welcome and instruction leaflet in several languages, great balcony and view of the IJsselmeer and your own parking spot in the back. If you don’t have children I wouldn’t stay in this area during the school holidays as it will be busy and noisy. Now it was perfect, quiet and peaceful and would definetely recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Had a great stay! Great location within walking distance of central Groningen. Very clean and cosy. Loved the little patio. We hope we can come back soon.

Tineke is a generous and careful host! Everything here is of exellent quality and in a good condition. You can live here for a year without having to buy extra things😆

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with all the comforts. The children enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it rained outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. We enjoyed staying in Monika's nice apartment very much. It is in a great location with a wonderful view of the beach. Everything necessary is available, so we could enjoy a carefree stay. Thank you! We will be happy to come back to it for the next Borkum stay.

Pleasant stay in the calm neighborhood. Host was very kind and even though we arrived very late for the check-in, she was right there waiting for us and made sure we are comfortable. I will definitely recommend.
