In the upper old town, in the immediate vicinity of the castle, is this large 2.5 room apartment. Freshly renovated, furnished from a mix of old and new, here is a gem with a fireplace and outdoor seating. The apartment has five sleeping accommodations. In the bedroom, there is a double bed with the possibility for a tatami bed. Furthermore, two Tatami beds can be provided in the living room. Restaurants, shops, bus stop, castle: direct proximity, swimming pool/Emme 5 minutes, train station 10 minutes' walk.

This newly built 24 m2 studio is located in the Emmental, 20 minutes from Bern and 20 minutes from Thun. It is very quiet because it is located in a residence on the heights of the village of Konolfingen from where you can admire the landscape of the Swiss Alpine meadows with in particular the famous Stockhorn, and the Niesen... It is within walking distance (15 minutes from the train station) as well as by car. We have a space in the residence's garage available to our visitors. The entry is independent.

The lovingly and friendly furnished rooms are located in the middle of the village and can be reached in a good 3-minute walk from the train station. The Emme river flows nearby and invites especially in summer for cooling off, barbecuing or taking a walk. Various restaurants and cafés provide culinary diversity. Shopping possibilities: Migros, Denner, Coop, bakery, butcher, cheese dairy. Tourism: - located directly on the "Herzroute" - Cheese dairy Affoltern - Burgdorf Castle - and more.

Charming apartment at the entrance of the Emmental

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

In addition to the hosts, friendly dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and chickens live on the Bühlmenschwand farm. From here you can enjoy beautiful walks through the adjacent woods and meadows, or further discover the Emmental by car or bike.
